I may not give the impression of being submissive.
I have both alpha and beta characteristics within my personality. Ive been told Im intimidating or that I come off as a bitch. This is quite possible if you dont know me. More alpha tendencies are my sort of default state. I speak my mind, I am not a pushover, I will defend my views and ideas, I am also highly protective of my loved ones.
I may be shy or anxious about meeting new people or new situations but that doesnt mean I wont bite if I feel it necessary to do so. We wont have any problems if you dont begin a discussion or relationship with me by trying to dominate me. You can not order me around, you can not control me, you can not make demands of me. I am very much submissive but that behavior is awarded to those who earn it. (Trust is earned, not owed.)
This will likely turn plenty of people off of me, but if thats all it takes then we probably wouldnt have a great relationship anyway.
I am bratty and snarky naturally, mostly for fun and games, occasionally because I give what I get. I take some time to open up to new people, that requires patience on your part, or at least respect and some level of understanding. Once I do I am exceptionally loyal, honest, and invested. Youll see a different side of me. (Im also awkward, shy, sarcastic - in a fun way, and somewhat clumsy.) Dont underestimate me, I dont have patience for people who can not be respectful and understanding of myself and others.
