Sigh! Here we go again. My beloved subbie [after spending a holiday with her devout Christian father] has decided to leave the lifestyle... again! I understand her sense of being torn between the two extremes and I also understand the bond between a parent and daughter. But what really hurts is the attitude she inherits nearly everytime she comes in contact with her father. I suspect you know what I'm talking about... it's the "I'm saved, you're damned to hell" scenario. It's funny because some of the most un-Christian-like behavior I've ever witnessed has come from folks who claim to be devout followers of Christ. This is the third time she's done this over the 11 years we've been together, so part of me wants to tough it out. [she always comes back after about six months]. But the rest of me says "learn from your past" and move on. Right now I think I'd just like to know what's in her heart instead of her head... K
