I would like to meet and form a relationship with a sub. The relationship might be just for fun and friendship but I'm open to (and welcoming of) a more serious and even permanent relationship developing. I believe that the Dom/sub relationship should be based on a negotiated power exchange, whereby the Dom only derives his power by virtue of the sub's giving it over to him through her willing submission to his authority over her. However, once this power dynamic has been negotiated and agreed upon then the Dom has the right to expect obedience and submission from his sub. This he may enforce by various forms of discipline, the nature of which, of course, will need to have been mutually agreed.
What does it for me chiefly is the psychological aspects of the D/s dynamic - the power and authority which I have over my sub, whereby, for example, I tell her to strip and without question she strips naked for me, in total submission. On the other hand, outside of the sexual domain I see the relationship very much as one of equality, although I am aware that some subs would want their Dom to be in control of much more of their lives, and, if that were the case, then I don't think I would have a problem with that either.
