I am who I am.  I will not change to something I am not for a partner.  It is a recipe for disaster.  Trying to be what you are not is exhausting. When I feel there is a personal motivation to improve myself then I take those steps to grow.
I have had the privilege of exploring with some incredible people with amazing talents.  I am honored to have good friends, who I have a great deal of respect for.  You know who you are.  I am lucky to have them.  I have learned to be careful about who I allow into my life.   Now that I have moved back to this side of the water, I look forward to spending more time with my friends.  I look forward to attending more of the social events and meeting new people.
I am not bi-sexual.  I am not interested in long distance relationships.  I do not do online relationships.   I am looking for partners to explore with.  I prefer to get to know people prior to any scenes.

The New York Times Arts Page has done an article (http://artsbeat.blogs.nytimes.com/tag/erotic-heritage-museum/) about the Erotic Heritage Museum, located in Las Vegas, regarding their fight for our first amendment rights.  The photo included with the article is from houseofgord  (http://www.houseofgord.com) Pony Play exhibit at the Erotic Heritage Museum (http://www.eroticheritage.org/)
Thank you Erotic Heritage Museum for putting up the good fight!

Have all men forgotten what it is to be gentlemen?  I should have taken it to be a sign of how things would go, when one of the latest men I met couldn't tear himself away from his computer long enough to have dinner and talk.  Following that, I guess I should have noticed he didn't even walk me to my car.  Many more clues.

I began to feel as if he would only contact me if he couldn't find anything better for the evening.

Why do I continue to go out of my way to try and please those who couldn't give a shit in the first place?

What is it that causes someone to send an abusive email to someone who has never contacted them or anything?  Are people's lives so small?

The Boy and the Toy

Once upon a time there was this little boy.  Everyday the little boy would walk by the toy store and look in the window.  He would gaze with awe and wonder upon all the bright and shiny toys.  He would go home, and dream about the toys he saw.

One day on his way home he saw the most magnificent toy in the world.  He had to have it, so he went home and started saving up his pennies.  Each day on his way home from school he would stop and look at the toy, spending all the time he could looking in the toy store window. He would talk with bright shiny eyes about how much he really liked the toy.  He exclaimed about how many bells and whistles it had, and how many buttons and knobs there were to pull.  He couldn’t wait to get his hands on it.  Rushing home he would count his pennies again and again.  He began to do odd jobs around the house to earn more money.

Finally, the boy went into the store, walked up to the counter and put his penny jar down.  He pointed at the toy in the window, as he spoke to the shop keeper with excitement in his eyes.  The shop keeper counted up the boy's pennies, smiled and nodded.  He went to the window and pulled out the bright shiny toy.  The boy practically bounced with glee, as the shop keeper wrapped it up in a package and handed it over to the boy.

The boy rushed home as fast as his legs could carry him.  Very excited, he couldn’t wait to open the package and play with his toy.  He ran straight to his room unwrapped the toy.  He rang the bells, he made the whistles sound.  He pulled knobs, and pressed buttons delighting in the way the toy responded.  He played with the toy all night until it was time to go to bed.

About a week later, there the toy lay on the floor.  Covered by tossed aside school clothes.  Every once in a while when something was tossed in it’s general direction a whistle would sound, a bell would ring, but the boy had lost interest in this wonderful toy.  He didn’t hear the bells and whistles any more, he didn’t see the bright shiny surface, and didn’t notice the knobs and buttons.

I am happy to say I have had many great contacts so far on here.  I don't understand why I keep getting emails from those outside the area I live trying to form a relationship.  I am NOT interested in LONG DISTANCE relationships.  I don't want to hook up with someone who "comes to my area."  I am interested in people who live in my area.
