Submission.........Webster describes it as "The act of submitting to the power of another". Others describe it as a way of giving all control to another. Submission......it can be a powerful word. A word that in my heart is felt that I can put my trust, and love, in someone that understands that this one has a need, a desire to give himself to one that can take that understanding and nuture it.
I am a swm who is 61 years of age and who has lived the D/S lifestyle for a little over 30 years. I came to terms of who I was, what I am, and why I came to be at a very early age.
During those years, I was under the guidance of 3 different wonderful Mistresses who brought the true sub out in this one. I learned a lot from them all and they will never be forgotten.
My second Mistress took the time to enhance and help me to learn more about myself by introducing this one to the Old Guard. That introduction became a big impact on my life as I have kept diarys and even scriptures from those days. I still keep in contact with my Elders.
I have found that the need to serve and the joys of being whole once again with one has returned within this ones heart. The acceptance into ones arms continues.

Guess it's time to be upfront and to the point cause this seems to be all the mail i am getting.

1.  If your wanting me to join a site.  I'm not interested.

2.  If all your wanting is monetary exchange, credit cards, gift cards, whatever.  I'm not interested.

Now with that out of the way, if your interested and want to chat or use slave on cam or whatever than any of the above B.S.., then contact me.  Otherwise, don't bother.  Getting tired of dealing with you people.

Ok....this is something i have to ask about 90% of you as I don't understand any of it.
At any time in your life, did ANYONE just come up to you with money, a credit card, gifts, or anything of that nature, JUST to speak with you?
If you are thinking on this, then why do most of you REQUIRE this on here when a sub/slave just wants to talk with you?
Think about it.

Living in a mountain area, with very people (20 at the most), miles apart from each other. it is not surprising to find out, out of all of them, I am the only with a job.  Lost jobs, lay-offs, companies folding, cut-backs and so on seems to have affected us all.  In my profession and good hearted nature I have been helping out where I can.  All of them appreciate what I can do for them.  Even if its the most minnute thing like changing a light bulb for the 84 year old lady 2 miles down the road.
So why do this?  Its being human.  Providing something without having to ask for anything in return.  Kind of like relationships.  A flower here, a gift there, the unexpected.  You get the picture.  You do it because you want to.  Not because someone demands it up on you, not because someone won't do things for you unless you do it, but because you have that choice.  We all right now are having some troubles with this day and age and with the way things are, it is going to take some time to get back what we are use to and what we had.  I just think it is kind of sad to see people wanting to take advantage of others without really thinking of what might be right or what might be wrong.

Another year older today.  Time goes by so fast anymore it seems.  56?  Eh, still don't feel any older than 40.  Suppose to be a nice day here in Colorado.  Think I'll grab up the fishing equipment, load the pups up in the truck and head out to my favorite fishing hole.  Be my treat to myself........

Wow.  Didn't realize it had been so long since my last entry.  Figured I should update things.  It's been almost a year now since i have moved into the newly rebuilt house.  And it has been wonderful.  God I love the smell of new paint, lol.  Things are going well.  My job has been unbeleivable.  Since starting out as part time 2 years ago, the changing off ownership last September, I became the head of the department.  The forest around the house is slowly coming back.  The wildlife is returning, found a new vehicle to work on (switched gears, not a VW this time.  An old 1900's fire truck), and in the process Gizmo had pups.  So right now life has been good.

update:
things are moving pretty quick right now.  just doesn't seem quick enough as i am getting anxious to get back in the house.  all is looking good tho.  the framing is done. so are all the walls and such.  aplliances are being installed and the inside is being worked on vigourously.  nice to see workers who at least take pride in there work.  i did make a few changes to what i wanted when i first renovated the house a couple of years ago.  just some things i felt were needed.  the forestry service has been out also to replant tress as well. i should be back home now it looks like in about mid-august.

Well, so far all is going well now.  I appreciate the kind words from many that sent responses on the loss of the house.  Construction has started on the new one, thanks to Colorado's weather.  It's been in the 70's now for the last couple of weeks.
The insurance money has kicked in so I am slowly rebuilding the "necesities", such as now having a new computer at home.
Hopefully, if all goes well, I should be back home again in about mid July.  Which will be nice.  I hate apartment living.  lol.  Looking to get back in contact with all that I have been chatting with and hopefully meeting new people once again.

Finally getting a chance to get an update going here. Times are a little rough right now as I am trying to get things back in order. Due to unseen events back in January, a vicious forest fire took half my home and after staying with friends for a while and now located in a small apartment, this is acutally the first chance I have had to even let anyone know of this. With this being Colorado's bad season with the weather, progress of rebuilding my home has been put on hold. Designs and such are made and everything needed is here and stored. Should be able to start construction (hopefully) around the middle of April. In the meantime I am using my PC from work and should soon have one for home use. Just everything right now is just being taken day by day.

In the last few months, there seems to be a lot of curiousity about my relationship to the Old Guard.  Questions such as what is it, please tell us about your experiences with them, how long was your training and are you still active.  And the biggest one being asked if i was bi.  Think i can answer that one now as it seems to be the biggest question asked.
I AM NOT.                         The Old Guard that i refer to is not the Old Guard that you see on the internet.  That is the New Old Guard or the Leather Old Guard.  For some reason trying to find any literature on the orginal Old Guard is almost near impossible to find on the internet.  With the people who are genuinely interested in learning more about it, please contact me for information as i will be setting up a web page soon on more information.  Also anyone who is still active or is a former member of the Old Guard, would love to hear from you and/or accept insight on adding to the web pages.

I have had several contacts that has brought some concern, thoughts and a need to express myself.  Living the lifestyle for as long as i have, and meeting and enjoying people who have made this journey themselves.  There is a need to understanding.  The understanding of individuals.  Each of us are different and no two lifestyles are alike.  A person and their partner make the lifestyle to what they make it.  To what they find in themselves and take that knowledge and grow on it.

I am submissive.  I know who i am and what i am and why i am.  In the outside world you wouldn't see this as my life and job require me to be aggresive, mentally strong, emontionally kept and physically fit.  I am submissive.  This does not mean i am weak or can't use what i have been educated in or using my talents or being able to use my mind.  I am submissive.  I have been trained to understand why i am here and what i am here for.  Submission should be priceless, a gift, and there is no price or tribute you can put on that.
