I'm a straight male switch and was married for 16 years. My ex eventually came out as a lesbian so...a few years ago, we parted ways amicably. Most recently, I just ended a year-and-a-half relationship with a woman and we had a great time with rope, but it was always casual and our time together pretty much ran it's course. Still good friends though.
I enjoy switching immensely and am game for everything bondage-related, some things S&M-related and am interested in understanding D/s more than I currently do. I'm decent with rope and really want to improve my craft. While my ideal partner is a female switch, a practice bottom would be welcome too. I run a bondage group here in the Triangle and the aim is to broaden people's interest in it while having fun. If you'd like to know some more about my interest in bondage, you can read about it on this collarme post:

Beyond all that...I love sports, movies, the guitar (although I can't play a lick), cats, politics (though not political cats) and I've got a great sense of humor. I'm also lame fashion-wise and can't seem to settle on any fetishwear - mostly because I'm not into black and that's what guys are expected to wear.
Anyone up for coffee, conversation and bondage?

I deleted my picture for awhile. I'm currently in job search (after being self-employed for a number of years) and may be undergoing background checks. Not that I necessarily think they'll turn up my kink life, but I decided to err on the side of caution.

I started a new website called Coming Out Letters. You can visit it here: www.comingoutletters.wordpress.com. A lot of people struggle with whether to come out or not. There’s no right answer. I decided to come out to some friends after reading When Someone You Love Is Kinky by Dossie Easton and Janet Hardy. The most powerful aspects of that book are the letters people wrote to their loved ones about being kinky. Those letters gave me the strength to come out. Maybe writing or
reading similar letters will help you. Whether you’re gay or straight, male or female, kinky or vanilla, friend or family or any of the beautiful variations therein - you’re
welcome there.

I've recently been chosen as the new Education Coordinator for 2008 for the Triangle Munch Group. If you know any engaging presenters send them my way.

I thoroughly enjoyed Woodsstocks - a 3-day kinky camping extravaganza last weekend in PA - and would highly recommend it.
