I’m a ‘natural’ submissive; have been all my adult life. The desire to serve is very real for me, and something often in my thoughts. I’m reasonably successful career-wise, am proud of that, and I have good prospects; what’s missing is being able to share those ‘moments’ with someone. Yes, that includes the obvious BDSM stuff, but it’s also the holidays, the sunsets, the wry comments about something you see in the street and want to share; it’s the look on their face when you have got them the perfect present ‘just because’. I fear I’m a romantic at heart! (Shakespeare, anyone?)

I am intelligent and articulate, taking a second degree in psychology, and am able to offer good conversation, humour, loyalty, honesty, and fine dining. Ok, well, the fine dining only applies if restaurants are involved, but the rest is true! I’d like to find the right woman for something long-term, someone with whom I’ve got common interests – BDSM and (gasp) non-BDSM! ;-) I’m a good friend to many women who see me as a confidant, advisor, and occasional cheerer-upper, and yes, I am proud of this. Their trust is important. All trust is important.

That’s true of my submissive side too. I’m open to pretty much most things, and have definite masochistic tendencies in the right situation, which means if it’s with a lady that enjoys that. Seriously, being whipped is fun, but knowing the other person is enjoying it as much if not more than you is the best bit. That probably sounds a bit odd, but for me it’s true.

I’m not a total walkover when being dominated, though; I can be meek and compliant, but I can also be devilishly defiant, even to the point where the defiance becomes an end to itself. I love giving up control, but I sometimes won’t do it freely. But ultimately, it’s fulfilling the needs of someone else, of them determining my actions that ‘gets’ me. That means I have precious few limits at all, and whilst I might be rebellious at times, deep down its about giving someone else pleasure.
