About VersosTidal

I don't mindlessly flow with the tide. Sometimes I stand firm, sometimes I swim against it. I'm neither intolerant or stubborn, but far from easily swayed. I examine and consider rather than simply accept popular notions and trends. New doesn't automatically mean something is better, or that it even works. It just means it's new.

I don't believe in blind obedience. I believe in the right to question, and the right to have a complete and honest answer.

I don't abide parasites, and loathe the herd mentality.

I believe in cleanliness and good order, not squalor and chaos.

I believe in civil, rational and thoughtful conversation, not rancor and shrill emotional outbursts.

I believe if you don't bother to think, then you can't really live, you merely exist.

I enjoy and seek the intelligent and look for one who is sexual, hedonistic, and wants a life free from inhibitions and doubts of acceptance. No one should live in self imposed repression because of anxieties about expressing their interests and desires. Expression and exploration, not inhibition and apprehension.

Having normalacy, safety and comfort and the lust, perversion and depravity isn't impossible, but it isn't a given either. Attraction, chemistry, compatibility and having shared outlooks on many levels, not just similar kinks, must exist. The non-BDSM aspects far outweigh those shared kink interests.

Problems with priorities:

?Capitalism without financial failure is not capitalism at all, but a kind of socialism for the rich.?

"We're consumers. We are byproducts of a lifestyle obsession. Murder, crime, poverty, these things don't concern me. What concerns me are celebrity magazines, television with 500 channels, and having some guy's name on my underwear."

Put the two together and you have modern America, with all its' problems.  The wealthiest have no problem with Socialism itself, but they don't want to squander the money on educating a child and seeing that they have access to health care.  They need that money for when they overleverage and to ensure their bonuses, and we make it so easy for them to do.

"Thinking is the hardest work there is, which is  probably the reason why so few people engage in it."  Henry Ford
A parasite can't possibly engage in a symbiotic and mutually beneficial relationship.  It's "Yin and Yang", not "Yin and a tapeworm".
Some things are even deeper than they are entertaining:

"Listen, you can run water over your hand and make it worse or ...  LOOK AT ME ... or you can use vinegar and neutralize the burn."  Tyler Durden

Think about it sometime.  Do you think and do the right thing, or just react without thinking?  Or worse, and simply do things out of habit?  No thinking or reacting, just being a mindless drone.

Perhaps I'm a bit different, but I find a grown woman to be far more interesting and intriguing than a "princess who needs to be spoiled" or "Daddy's little girl".  Both types sound as if what they truly want is a life free from any and all responsibilities.
I'm looking for the right woman, not "Daddy's little girl".  I have no interest in dealing with childish, petulant, immature and bratty behavior.

I also have little interest in "biker chicks" or "biker lifestyle".
Trends I don't care for:

Mudslinging and misdirection instead of addressing facts.

The tattoo fad.

Buying things on credit and impulse rather than saving and shopping for what you actually need and use.

Sound bites and taking anything and everything out of context.

Expectations of instant gratification.

Self righteous indignation over the most trivial matters.

Trying to talk over others or shout them down.

Misplaced priorities.

Perpetual indebtedness.

Oversensitivity.

Celebrity mania.

Religious zealotry and fundamentalism.

Emotional reactions witout any critical thinking.

Habitual lying.

Doing anything and everything while in traffic except for actually driving.

Choosing warm, fuzzy and most popular over what's best and what actually works.

Expecting anything to improve without effort or sacrifice.

Making choices based upon fear.
