A special book to me was the Story of O, it's what really put the idea of slavery into my head. Before i read it the idea of slavery really never appealed to me. It's something i like to discuss and found the book rather moving.

So i have always wondered something and would like opinions on the subject. Why are there so many more Dominatrix's then Mistresses? i would personally never go to a Dominatrix; or a woman who requires 'tribute' of any kind, so it's saddening to see so many that do. It really is not the money; i love to spoil my friends, and my significant others quite happily when i can. i think most submissive people are the same; or at the least the majority that i have met are. What really bothers me about it, is that it's a 'tribute'. i think my submission is tribute enough, and is worth more then any amount of money i could give. Maybe im an odd submissive; if i am, then let me know...i haven't known too many people in the lifestyle so i could be for sure.
