Maybe the human race would be better off if Adam had tossed the apple aside and given Eve a really good spanking.

Religious people on this site confuse me. Conservative people do more, they confuse and astound me. I mean, in this context, "yeah lets vote for some idiot like Rick Santorum," who will put an end to websites such as this one. But this all goes deeper. To be an active participant in a lifestyle such as this requires an open mind. A mind which is blistering with questions about things other then "who am I going to tie up this weekend, and who is going to tie me up this weekend." Its very simple really. I mean, lets face it, we are not all perfect civilians. Furthermore, anyone who attempts to quote the bible, is barking up the wrong fucking tree. Now, granted, I have a statement on my profile that is meant to inspire some kind of thought. But it was never intended to inspire fanaticism. This is what it brought me.

Makes you wonder doesn't it? Sounds like fun as well. I like your profile. I don't think I have ever had a "best" friend.

At this point I was being polite, as always, thought I would try to strike up a conversation with this young lady.

The Adam and Eve thing, no, not really I think you hit the nail on the head there, it's a fact, plain and simple.  Adam should have through out the apple and beat Eves ass and then all would be well in the world today.  But I'm not 100% sure it was an apple.  It was the fruit of the knowledge of good and evil and well maybe Adams curiousity got the better of him too.

Maybe it was a pomagranite, and the whole story is a reference to Hades and Persephone. An attempt by the judeo-christian traditions of the time to indoctrinate the pagan's of eastern Europe.

Okay I'm sorry at the risk of sounding completely ignorant what?

At this point I thought I might help the girl out, and not let her think she was stupid and uneducated.

If you do not know Greek mythology then you cannot be ignorant. Lets just say that the whole eating of the forbidden fruit story is nothing original. However, in the case of Hades and Persephone, it was the man who offered up the forbidden fruit. There is a bit more to the story. Point is that there are a lot of similarities with the bible and all of the mythos that came before it.

But then I got this, in two different letter's that appeared to be very rude.

The Bible is not a myth, the Gospels are not a myth, they are the word of GOD, Jehova, Allah, Yaweh, whatever name you choose to call him by!  The Bible is in fact one big book made up of many little books known as the gospels which was put together by Constantine, later revised by King James.

The Torah is the same group of books with the additional book of Mohamed put together by whomever and translated through the years.

Greek Mythology?  an excerpt from Genesis 1:26 and God said let US make man in our image!--OUR being the operative word!

Now I have not studied Greek Mythology in depth at all!  But I do with out a doubt have deep deep deep faith in the creator of heaven and earth, though I know not his name and I dare not to call any religion a mytho or anything of the sort!

The Bible, the Torah, the Koran, the book of Mormons, Buddism, they all teach the same basic truths, that there is in fact a power higher than us, treat others as you want to be treated, they all condemn gays!  Why so many religions one might ask?  My theory, simple, the tower of Babel, God confounded us and speaks to each of his tribes in his own manner, none the less you will find the same basic underlying principles in ALL of the MAJOR RELIGIONS, and though I have not done and in depth study on Greek Mythology if I remember correctly from what little I learned in high school, it was the same moral basis behind it as well accept there were more than one God.  Hence the verse I quoted you earlier from Genesis 1:26

So I sent this.

Are you sure that a singles site, such as this one, is the right place for you? Not that I make a habit of telling others what to do, its just that religious people tend to seem out of place here. As far as your views on the bible, well here is some food for thoughthttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZFrkjEgUDZA&feature=related

But you know the old story, when someone already knows the "truth" who the hell wants to learn, right?

What a judgemental question statement to make!

The first thing I thought was, "there is no such thing as a judgmental Question statement." So I said to myself WWWHHAAAAAT!!!!!

In precisely those characters. I could see the little letters floating around in my fucking head! I had no choice but to respond with this.

religious people tend to seem out of place here--That sir, is  a judgemental statement!

Now this is where I beg my reader to comment. I don't care what you say, you wont hurt my feelings. Trust me! you cannot hurt my feelings. And the truth is, this little girl gets way more mail then I do. I don't care That millions of horny guys are dying to get into her pants, and "oh they cant wait to give her a good spanking." But if intelictual discourse has to end with this, then so be it. There is no woman for me, and I am happy that I am alone!

And it may be, based on your interpretation. Let me ask you this, what would your pastor say?

You started quoting the bible as if it were the only line of belief. As if opinions didn't matter. As if other's insight had no bearing. And that little lady, does seem out of place. This is a world of free thought. Of free life. Many of us make things up as we go. Others know exactly what they want. But getting beaten 1,2,3, is anything but holy.

Yet another judgemental statement from you:  "getting beaten 1,2,3 is anything but holy" AND AN ASSUMPTION!  "What would your pastor say"  Look, IDK what you have against God, but take it up with him as I am DONE Talking to you, have a blessed day okay!

I am done talking to you too, but you are not getting the last word, and the whole BDSM world is going to know about it.

Obviously you are not that serious about your faith. Otherwise you would not view my statements as being judgmental, and you would not be "hurt" by them. I wont take jack shit to "god". And you will not tell me what to do, or how to do it. I will always ask questions, and some sensitive person, who is not convinced of their belief system, nor has no desire to follow the rules that have been laid down by those who claim to have authority in the knowledge of said belief system, I.E. Rick Santorum, Mitt Romney, and the rest of the religious right, are not going to change my perceptions. Care for a pomagranite?
