On another topic, it came up in a talk with a friend at work: Body art. Hm There is a lot I could say here. I never have had an issue with tattoos and the like if they had meaning. An example was a waitress I met once who had a Red Baron Snoopy on her ankle. Come to find out her father was a pilot in Nam and had snoopy painted on his plane. When he was diagnosed with terminal cancer they all went out (her family that is) and got this tattoo on their body. She choose an ankle because normally they were covered and it was a private tattoo. Her tattoo had meaning. I have seen some who go out and get them because they are cool, or they like the picture. To me, such ink should have something behind it, something that makes it special to them. I also prefer it to be in a place that is not blatant or something that can keep a person from a job. Having stars inked onto your face or neck, not so cool. a half back piece that can be covered in public situations as needed? Awesome.

He also brought up piercings. Hmm My thoughts here are simple really. I love nipple and hood piercings because, well I can play with them, same with a tongue piercing and the standard ears can be just beautiful. These people that do the new fad of gauging out the place under their lower lip so you can see their teeth? All I can say is who wants to watch you chew your food and how do you drink with that in. On the other hand a simple nose stud, can be cute, if you can put a master lock in it, not cute. I still don't understand eye brows and Marilyn Monroe style piercings and some labia piercings can be a bit much. You want to be laced together? Cool. You want me to put padlocks in to hold the lips together? A little to extreme for me. If it adds to your natural beauty great, If it don't and you just wanted it cause it was something that set you apart again, great. But, if I personally feel it is a bit too much and your mine or want to be mine? Don't be surprised if I say something about it.

Recently I have come to realize I don't deal well with Brats. Nothing against them personally but they tend to grate against my nerves and put me in a very poor headspace. After all there is a difference between being funny, having fun, and being disrespectful. Many, not all, of the brats I have had any recent experience with used being a "brat" as a synonym for being a bitch and claimed they were speaking "truth" when they were using it to cover bad behavior on their part. Being a Brat does not excuse a persons actions. Just as it does not excuse the scorpion with the frog. Just as being a "baby girl" does not mean you should expect to be "Daddy's untouchable spoiled little girl". Flame me if you want. I wouldn't let my flesh and blood daughter get away with talking back to me, or breaking promises because she thought it was cute or she wasn't in the mood, why would I allow an adult the same thing?
