About UndeadZombie
First of all, I'm a geek, I grew up quiet, shy, and very few friends. So for many years, computers were my friends. My first "crush" was ELIZA (Look it up if you don't know). I play video games, watch sci-fi, collect vintage computers, etc. I'm not much of a sports person, but don't mind sometimes, as long as there's good company.
I've been married twice, not looking for a "Third times a charm" but I am looking for friends, activities, dating, intimacy, and fun.
I am a person who can have a conversation about almost anything, but I'm not an active conversationalist. I need someone who will actively listen and participate in the conversation. Too many times I end up meeting people who either don't say anything, or visibly show that they don't care about anything I'm saying. So at times like that, I just shut up. I also have a hard time just walking up to someone and starting a conversation in most types of social situations.
My life is confusing at best lately, I don't know if it's just me who's confused, or the world. Once I get to know you, I usually don't have a problem sharing, but I know I have scared people off before by being too open too soon. So it's not my intention to tell any hurtful lies, or give misinformation. Also, it's not so much a trust issue, as much as a lot of people will make snap judgements based on misinformation propagated about the various items. So I believe in giving someone time to get to know me, and vice-versa.
I am generally a very open minded person, and have had friends of many orientations, religions, and races. There is likely very little of "shock value" that someone could tell me about themselves. I understand that everyone has their own values and beliefs, and as long as you don't try to force them on me, we can get along. I am always willing to listen, and often willing to try new things, so don't be afraid to ask. |
