So after a relatively long hiatus I am sticking my toe back in the waters. I am looking for a long term relationship.
I enjoy structure but not protocol, if that makes sense. As such I like someone who knows how to lead and can inspire me to follow in areas where I am interested in following. Trying to browbeat me into following generally fails. Additionally, I am perfectly capable of creating my own structure. I don't need an outsider to do it.
And I prefer a wise leader who knows when to step back and allow others to shine :)
In other words, there is not one person who is the authority source in my ideal relationship. Each person leads in the areas of their expertise. No I am not looking for a dom type to take over and run my life. My life is already well run by me.
It's also wise to point out that I have a career, a good job, assets, friends, pets, etc. Someone who fits with me will mesh seamlessly into all that. Someone who expects me to walk away from everything I have worked hard for probably lives too much in fantasy and not enough in reality. |
