Who are you?
What do you want?

I am a master (Vana'she) who at this time has begun the hunt anew. My training is Gorean and there is no compromise on this. If you want to debate the issue, this is not the place for you.

I see those who say they will do anything to be trained, shaped and molded. They also say they will commit totaly to the discipline of the Dominant... we will see.

I find the truth in a world of lies through the philosophy of the Gorean Chronicles. I teach a verson of a Master's craft as well as the way of the warrior.

Anyone who wishes to become a kajira, an elite slave can Petition my attention and if found suitable can begin training to earn their ko'Lar.

It pleases me to converse with any who wish to talk to me with the proper respect.

Tal a ma dela vela (Warrior's greeting and greeting to others),

We learn by doing and occasionally we will have our nose bloodied in the course of what we do. I have however learnt that it is not how often one gets knocked down that counts, but how often we get up again. I also learn from my mistakes and make sure not to repeat them.

There is however some principles I do believe in and one of those is the possibility of the use of the Kassar tongue in r/l. I am aware that it is used in the role playing rooms, but I think it can be of benefit in our day to day life. What the role players do is their own concern and of little interest to me. I have often found it necessary to communicate with my kajira in a way that the barbarians are not aware. Having one’s own tongue makes that possible.

As to what I will now do; like everything else, I adapt, improvise and eventually overcome.

Tal a ma dela vela (Warrior's greeting and greeting to others),

I return after my little break and it’s time for me to get back into it. One of the more interesting questions on this site is what draws people to the ‘scene’. This then ties into the first two questions I ask on my profile. Seventy percent of any problem is defining it.

We are all in the throes of chain and ko’Lar no matter what end of it we sit. Why did you come here to this place, or perhaps more accurately why were you drawn here? The answer after talking to many is that it is often something that we have little choice over. I love the following quote as it truly sums up a Master – kajira relationship.

A man in his heart desires freedom, and a woman in her belly yearns for love. The collar in its way answers both needs.

I can’t answer for others but only for myself. I first read the Assassin of Gor many years ago and at time the world remade itself before my eyes. I saw the possibilities inherent in the philosophy given within those pages and set about transforming it to a system that could survive in the world of the (vanilla) barbarian. This is not just for me, but for any others who wish to join me in this endeavour. I know how to achieve the power, beauty, form and subtly that is suggested in the Chronicles. It is not for everyone but only for those who wish it badly enough.

I return after taking a few days off to catch my breath which we all need from time to time.

I can now return my attention to designing a system of training based on the Gorean Chronicles which is usable in the real world. As per usual, I thank everyone who has read my journal and find much of the feedback to be very useful. To the rest
beeji’ma still applies.

I unfortunately can’t devote all of my time to my system as part of it has to be given to trying to find work (I’m sick of being a poor Master).

How many times have I seen one who wishes to be trained, but alas few really know of the commitment required.
If you are one of those who wish this training; what are you truly prepared to give of yourself? Not of your property, but of yourself.

" ‘Earthlings,’ she said, ‘are manipulated organisms, helpless in the flow of social forces, slobbering to slogans and rhetoric. They will be the first to celebrate their own downfall. They will not discover what has been done to them until it is too late.’ "

My last few weeks have been a good learning curve which is all I have to say on the subject. I'll leave it to others to comment on this as I am sure they have little else to do with their time.

Tal a ma dela vela,
Part of our journey is finding what works and what does not. When it does not work, we move on.

Tal (Warriors greeting) and me dela vela (greeting for others),
The subject of my use of the Gorean language has now arisen (not for the first time). Let me explain as clearly as I can.

I believe that any group needs its own identity, and a Gorean community is no exception. Part of having that identity is possessing something that is unique to the group, in our case; our own tongue.

Firstly, I do not claim this to be totally Gorean as I have never met anyone from Port Kar or any other part of Gor. It is therefore profoundly difficult to speak authentic Gorean. If you are from there, or know someone from there; I have a very good deal for you. Some of the phrases and words are from the chronicles and others are taken from various dialects from around the earth. Language is also a growing, living thing that will grow as we grow.

This is the language I and anyone who joins me in this local Gorean community chooses to use. For anyone who jumps up and down complaining that this is not ‘real’ Gorean; please remember that being Gorean is a matter of the heart, not of pedantics.

Tal (a warriors greeting) and ma dela vela (I greet you),
I have just found out that my training on my me'shan will now start in r/l rather than the constant instruction on line. This is important as one can only do so much with electronic images on screen. It is time that she now experiences all that her 5 senses have to offer.

This me’shan has been pleasing to me and she trains well. She will be more pleasing to experience as she surrenders totally to my will. The hunting has now reaped its reward.

I was asked by one what is my reference to walking well. I teach one in my ko’Lar to walk well by instructing her to point her toes slightly forward and out (about 5 degrees at most). Many women walk with their toes pointing out (making them waddle) or in (making them pigeon toed). Many runway models over empathise this gait by stepping with one foot in front of the other, and sometimes step across exaggerating the step. A woman to walk well just needs to step as if they are walking on a thin board.

Many also walk with their knees bent because they do not trust their balance and have been taught not to walk proudly. One last thought before I go and make another kafka dur en kajira; don’t walk with your arms crossed unless you are cold. It denotes to those watching that you have a defensive approach to the world, and also not proud of who you are.

A woman also can walk well is still be in a ko’Lar, and be proud of who she is and of her commitment.

ma dukma va braks, (I wish you well)

ma dela vela (I greet you),
Sitting here with a
kafka dur en kajira (coffee with milk and sugar), I would like to say that it has mostly been a very good week. I have one who has submitted to my ko'Lar and if what we have on line is as good in r/l; I am going to be a happy Vana'she.

I am pleased as to how this is progressing, and for those who wished me well for what has happened, I find this pleasing and I can say jashi var (thank you).  There are also those who I have had conversation and each time, there is always something valuable I can take away from it.

For those who are less than impressed with me, well, I can’t please everyone. I am what I am and have to remain true to myself. I have neither the time, inclination or interest to continue to converse with anyone who shows me no respect. I have however heard that Coventry is nice this time of year. Could I be considered arrogant by some people, perhaps; but I leave that up to others to judge. I have far too many things on my plate to worry about such matters.

PS. The Gorean dictionary goes well.

Greetings,

I have seen in the profiles and journals that many want to find a place where they can learn.

What do you want to learn? How do you see your progress as you explore what you have always dreamed of? Which side of the ko’Lar do you sit on? You no doubt have your own questions and they can always be fun as well.

It is pleasing to me to assist those who come to me with respect.

While you are pondering this, I will partake of some black wine served in the first kajira.

What does it mean to be Gorean? Often I have puzzled upon this, and if I have learnt one thing; it is to learn I am not perfect.
I made a bad mistake although I will not say what the mistake was. The people whom I affected know what it was, and I apologise unreservedly. I also will never make such a mistake again, so I swear before all assembled. I am also know of their graciousness and will remember this.

I also know that my approach can be somewhat overwhelming at times, but I am what I am. For those who wish to join with me, are welcome to do so. For those who do not wish to welcome or join with me, remember this quote:

"Within the circle of each man's sword," say the codes of the warrior, "therein is each man a Ubar" "Steel is the coinage of the warrior," say the codes, "With it he purchases what pleases him"
--Marauders of Gor, page 9

I am sure that I can find a weapon, armour and shield and if necessary train you how to use them.

So whatever your inclination, be well or beeji’ma.

9/17/2006 1:19:09 AM

Greetings again,
It has been pleasing for me to be here and correspond with some of you. My work as a Gorean Master is progressing well, and there are a few potential kajira that would do well in a ko'Lar. For you out there who aren’t quite sure what a kajira is, let me explain.
A Gorean slave, the kajira is a pleasure slave kept in total discipline and a not a place for the faint hearted, or those who just want to play. Kajira is two words which is ‘ka’ mean perfect, and ‘jira’ meaning girl. They are expected to give their all to their master, which also includes pleasure.

The kajira is expected to obey any command given to her immediately and without hesitation. I also teach them twenty one positions which include kneeling, standing and how to lie on stomach and back. A kajira in my training is not expected to learn all 21 positions at once, but are broken up into 4 different lessons. Other training includes serving, walking (sorry girls but many of you walk badly) and other aspects that I deem necessary.

I expect the slave to adopt a position immediately and perform it perfectly. A kajira failing to do so is immediately disciplined which I have found is a good incentive. A good kajira rarely has to kneel before the whip (a position). If she does not kneel before the whip to my satisfaction, she is disciplined for that as well. Amazing how quickly they can learn.

If you think this sounds tough, you’re right. Kajira are elite slaves and expected to perform to the satisfaction of the master. This is by no means a complete description of my training, but rather an overview of a section.

Meanwhile, my hunting while striking a speed bump has resumed to progressing well.

9/14/2006 5:27:12 PM

This take 2 of my effort to write in my journal as the last one didn’t stick. I am a Gorean master and make no apologies for this. There are some that take exception to the Gorean approach and all I can say is, “beeji’ma”.

"It is said that he whose lips have never touched those of a slave girl does not know, truly, what it is to hold a woman in his arms."

Page 438 - Beasts of Gor

What pleases me to do is activities such as; discuss the tenets of the art, as well as start to hunt for she who belongs in my collar.

I also wish to sit in conversation with other Masters to compare techniques. I do not have any paga, but I am sure I can find a bottle of Merlot or three J.

Upon occasion, it will also please me to converse with slaves, submissives and kajira to guide them in their journey providing their owner does not object, and the subject shows the proper respect.

Always remember that the silliest question the world is the one you never ask in case you look silly.

Ok, I’m not allowed to criticize other members so I’ll keep my opinions to myself about the individual who wrote me saying she was sick of people roleplaying Gorean. Anyone who knows me would tell you that my training is no game.

I put the image there for several reasons:

A) It looks cool and was taken as I was leaving the field to repair my axe after a vigorous combat (the axehead got caught in a shield).

B) Its a terrific photo and others were cut out of the picture (their shadows are still there)

C) I have been studying the way of steel for many years now and am a training officer of some note in the medieval re-enactment movement. I know how to handle sword, spear and axe (especially a 5 foot axe)

I know the difference between reality and fiction and know this isn’t Gor. I use the works of John Norman as a basis for my training, and have spent over a quarter of a century perfecting the art of training a kajira.

If you ask me about being a ubar and where’s the war; my answer is the same as it always was. My war is against the lies and dishonesty that permeates our world (not Gor J), want to join me in the fight?

By the way, I think the photo is cool.

Anyone who wants to ask me a question about what I do while retaining their manners is always welcome to do so.
