Addressing the Issues of the "Unicorn Dilemma"...
While searching for our third we have often come across women that seem reluctant to get involved in a pre-established relationship and it has had me thinking... i was once in this same boat myself... Not opposed to the idea of being in a triad but not fond of the idea of entering into a relationship with 2 people that had been together for a while and being the third wheel, especially when marriage was concerned. i didn't want to lose out on the chance of one day being married while having to watch the 2 people i loved being married to each other. This is why i am writing this entry, i want to clear a few things up about Master and i. W/we are not married, W/we are not in love as yet, we have been together a relatively short time and have been taking things at a pretty slow/normal pace. When W/we bring in a 3rd it will not be to make her a left out 3rd wheel. Think of it this way... If a 2 person relationship is a bicycle, our triad would be like a tricycle, more stable and with 1 wheel in the front (Master) and the 2 support wheels in the back (you and me). W/we would eventually discuss having a family and incredible stability and with us still being so young we have nothing to do but grow and mature as a triad. my point in all of this is that we are not looking for a unicorn, we are looking for a 3rd, we don't need to find someone that is in need of serving a couple, just someone that likes the idea of having a Master and a girlfriend. After all, we are polyamorous in a monogamous way. Perhaps this can be what you are looking for.
This is only my thought on the matter, of course, Master may think otherwise, but i have a feeling he will agree. |
