I learned a lesson tonight. When my instinct is that I am pushing a sub too far, and they insist that I am not, always trust the instinct to stop. 

It never ceases to amaze me, the individuality of people.  It doesn't surprise me, of course, but it constantly amazes me. I take great joy in very simple things when they are human things, because they are infused with the individuality of the people who participate in them.

Submission is letting go.

Everybody has things they need to let go of. These may be things that they are afraid of, or things that they feel they need, or things that cause conflict in their minds. Submission is letting go of all that, and replacing it with a humble, "Yes, Sir."
