The profile name is ironic, by the way, if you hadn't guessed.

I come back on CM after a break and I'm instantly confronted by a load of new profiles, all very similar and all more than likely from profiles created in Africa.

No-one "sells" a slave. Don't be gullible and pay money for something you'll never get. All you're doing is lining the pockets of Nigerian and Ghanean scammers.

When someone who professes to be 18 looks for someone very much older than themselves, the profile screams scammer. Or golddigger. Or both.

Another identifying feature is the phrase "will relocate at own cost", which makes them look as though they are willing to pay to come to you themselves, but then there's always a problem or emergency that means a lack of cash and could you pay instead? They'll pay you back later, honestly.....

Finally if I had a pound for every profile that said their family was killed, or their Dom was killed..... I'd have several pounds. Don't fall for this grab for sympathy.

Then of course there's the "will do anything and everything for you" "24/7" and "No Limits" profiles that scream scammer. The best way to check is to make sure the first thing they do is get on the phone and verify they're real, in the UK, and aren't a bloke pretending to be woman.

While we're on the subject, wearing a dress (or more likely female underwear) at the weekend does not make you a woman.

The so called Doms that fall for this sort of thing aren't worthy of the name because they have no self-control. Otherwise they'd step back and realise that they're looking at a false profile. I have no sympathy with someone that thinks with their genitals and falls for these tricks.

Can we all be a little more sceptical, be a bit more wary, take precautions and stop feeding these scammers? They might eventually try to get their kicks and their money somewhere else.

Its no wonder I don't come on here much any more.

The other day I was perusing profiles as you do and found over 20  virtually identical profiles. Too similar to be a coincidence,  especially as they were also online within minutes of each other.

Why a person would need 20-odd profiles (and thats just the obvious ones) defeats me.

As a hint:

The 20-odd similar profiles have bright coloured backgrounds, aged  32-48, have a very limited set of phrases in the profile. Usually wants  to be treated like dirt. See if you can spot them.

I  know that this character has wasted people's time, just look at  the profile needsleashing which details the scenario this person goes  through each and every time.

There's also another set of profiles aged 18-26. Again same set of  phrases, same profile layout, all online within minutes of each other,  etc.

Scammers are still on the site but thankfully a lot less these days, as they tend to still have profiles that stand out:

Pidgeon English is a fair sign of a scammer, as is the phrase "god-fearing".

The telltale yahoo email addresses in their profile is another indication, along with the request to "hit me up". urgh.

Using photos supposedly for UK profiles which are lifted from foreign  dating sites is a classic. Check stuff in the background of pictures,  it tells a huge amount. Foreign plug sockets and light switches, photos  of places that look more like Hawaii than Huddersfield, that sort of  thing.

Even if they aren't fake, what posters they have on their walls or  if they're tidy/messy gives a great indication into the sort of person  they are.

Anyone else want to add to the online people watching and scam busting tips?

Its a great game once you get into it.

Is it me or is there currently a predominance of so-called slaves and submissives wanting to be whored out?

Is this a female fantasy or a "male-posing-as-female" one?

Just asking....

10/22/2010 3:33:40 PM

Its interesting to note that lots of old profiles on CM that have been dormant for ages have come back to life recently. Where have you all been?

Also, I note that scammers are getting better: using proper grammar and the names of UK cities without the word "city" after it. However, having an African name in the yahoo messenger account name referenced at the end of the profile kinda gives the game away. Talk about falling at the last hurdle!

I've often been asked what it is I enjoy about my bagging kink. Its hard to explain, as its a very old kink of mine.
I like the responses: from blind panic to the more measured ones. I like the sense of control, the power over another, right to the very edge. I like the trust the submissive places in me, to practice something which is right there on the very edge of play.
Finally I like to see submissives enjoy the adrenaline rush of being taken to that very edge, to their limits and beyond, then brought back safely.

I see plenty of profiles out in BDSM land that say "no scat, kids or dogs.

Well, in the UK, the only thing we're free to do is mess with sh*t.

Paedophillia is illegal.

Bestiality is illegal.

Images of both those activities are also illegal to own. Anyone intending to engage in either of those illegal activities need to be aware of the criminal aspects before they engage in them, swap images of them or discuss them in detail with strangers on the internet. That also includes presenting your PC with an undeleted porn stash for fixing at PC World or whatever.

That was a public service announcement.

12/26/2009 1:16:16 PM
The answer, pretty obviously is "Not many".

12/24/2009 12:08:45 AM
There are plenty of slaves on here with the premise of being a sexual slave. Not many it seems are into full, unending servitude, without prerequisites.

Thats the sort of slavery I'm into.

Total chastity and devotion to one's master.

No rights, no sex, no kids, no friends, no family, no social life, no liberty. Ever, period.

Just how many I wonder, would contemplate a life that demanding?

12/8/2009 12:08:37 AM
I've finally come up with the ultimate collarme equation:

The BMI and the age of the person in the photograph are inversely proportional to the chance of the profile being fake.

In essense, the slimmer and younger the person in the photo, the more chance there is of a fake profile.

Simples!

Another thought on the increase in the slaves supposedly for sale on here: why are the slaves for sale? If they're any good, their masters would keep them wouldn't they?

So obviously the ones for sale aren't up to much. If anyone asks, I'd bid a quid for one: its a fair payment for an obviously troublesome slave, its an embarrassingly low amount which serves to humiliate the slave and it serves to confirm the slaves status as property (not very high value property obviously).

And in these totalitarian times, if the Police get involved, it can be laughed off as a joke. Because remember, actual slavery (as opposed to role-play slavery) was made illegal a couple of hundred years ago.

11/15/2009 8:25:01 AM
Okay, here's another bit of advice for fakes.

If you are going to use photos of someone else, get them off the internet. Don't whatever you do, use your camera to take pictures of a porno photospread from a magazine and then upload them to CM as your own.

There is an obvious telltale in the reflection of the flash on the page. Numpty.

For a bit of audience participation, I'll put up the name of the first person to tell me which profile I'm talking about.

11/8/2009 4:20:31 PM
I do love some of the nonsense that appears here on CollarMe.

Latest is the host of Sub/Slave schools/farms/houses or whatever it is you call a repository for unowned/unwanted subs and slaves.

I'm sure there are hundreds of such places around the country. The land is rife with young, pretty girls locked up and ready for gullible men to dominate.
10/28/2009 2:53:39 PM
Been away from the site for quite a while. I've been unable to get internet access thanks to the nurses here at the home for the terminally bewildered getting a tad too big for their boots.

But I'm back! Muhahah!

Lets see whats happening CM-wise.....

8/15/2009 2:32:04 AM
Seems theres a new influx of scam artists recently.

The usual "Picture taken in Hawai" sort, plus the now pretty common "contact me on this yahoo account" ones as well.

I've spotted a new type spring up too in the past few weeks, the "I only want a master/dom outside the UK" scam artist. Things aren't that bad in the UK, so I'm convinced this is a new scam phenomenon. Whether its so that a Nigerian can deceive a US dom because they don't know UK geography and life in detail, or its just to get round some protections collarme have on the site I don't know.

8/11/2009 9:11:53 AM
Shit! How many masters die in auto accidents? Seems there are loads of subs and slaves on here had it happen to theirs, poor dears. Maybe I should get a fund going to repatriate them back to blighty.

I think I'd better give up BDSM, it looking a bit risky *checks brakes hoses for subbie-induced cuts*
7/20/2009 2:28:10 PM
Female slave required to join a household.
Identities will be confirmed during discussions. I am real, as you must be.
No foreign slaves need apply: you go straight into the bin.
Any slave to be considered must be based on the South Coast and eventually relocatable.

M-F ts slaves will be considered, but must be convincingly female in form. Pre-op will be considered, as genitalia not required. Your Chastity will be absolute and inescapable.

No male slaves need apply: don't appear more sad and desperate than your pictures show you already are.

5/18/2009 6:27:21 AM
It seems there is another batch of fakes on here.

Easy to spot, because they are virtually identical in format: they use the picture of a young girl, with varying text on their profile, but the common denominator is a request to contact them via a yahoo or hotmail address at the end of the profile text.

A second new one is the rise of the "slave for sale" advert. Anyone that is gullible enough to send money for a slave needs their heads examining. (a) its ALWAYS a scam (b) slavery is illegal in this country.

4/7/2009 2:43:04 PM

More guidance for the fakes on here:

1. When using pictures from foreign dating sites, make sure there are no foreign plug sockets in the background. Its a dead giveaway.

2. Get your Ethnicity right. Most real people know what their ethnic background is. Using a picture and then stating a different ethnicity on the profile is just dumb.

3. Very few palm tree forests grow in the UK.

4. Make sure the pictures you use match up to the age range stated in the profile.

5. Having a female profile stating "I'll do anything" is a dead giveaway. I've yet to meet a woman that does anything and everything she's told to!

6. Offering slaves for sale: Since slavery was abolished in the UK centuries ago, its been illegal to actually sell a person. But hey, I'll give you a quid for the bitch.

Hmm, been busy the past few weeks, but I thought I'd share this:

I asked her "DO you have any limits?"

She said "No Master"

I asked her "Do you trust me?"

She answered "Yes, always"

I placed a plastic bag over her head and as I taped it tightly round her neck said "You can tear it off any time you want or, if you trust me, place your arms behind your back and let me bind them tight"

She placed her hands behind her back and waited to be bound.

Such trust, so rare to find.

It seems that there are definately specific types of people on here that appear regularly and make me chuckle.

First, there are the 18-20 something girls out to supplement their time at Uni by having a sugar daddy.

Then there are the ones that come on here as slaves, then within a day are collared, or under consideration to somone thousands of miles away. How does that work? For me domination has to be "hands-on".

How about the just legal girls on here that purport to be dommes? I can't imagine being dominated by one of them would be fulfilling. Where's the experience?

Then there are the "can't get a date any other way, so I'll pretend to be a top or bottom on here" type.

Of course there are the obvious ones: Nigerian scams (bad english in profile and mentioning "before god" lots), the men posing as girls (dodgy pics are a giveaway), the guys that contact you then ask in the second message "do you have any pics?" (of the wife/girlfriend/slave/submissive).

All bring me a great deal of amusement, so I thank you all.

So no wonder I do my serious friendship stuff on other sites. Collarme is just too much of a minefield!

10/10/2008 3:34:31 PM
Hmm, times must be hard due to the credit crunch:

I see the influx of supposedly subbie girls at Uni is higher this year.

Well, if guys are gullible enough to pay through the nose so they can have a young bit of stuff, then carry on. But I do think the sight of a 40-something guy stalking the Uni bars is truely sad.

All credit to the girls for ingenuity though... it certainly helps lower the student loan.
8/16/2008 6:54:20 PM
Hmmm, found a couple of fishy profiles: one in Oxford, one in London. One 20 years old, the other 30. But both use the same photo!
All the photos in both profiles are of the same girl and seem to be nicked from someone in their late teens.
Suspiciously, both seem to be online regularly within minutes of each other.
The icing on the cake is that both profiles are supposedly bisexual and looking for a mistress. Hands up all those that reckon both profiles are actually a bloke trying to chat to women by hiding behind female profiles....
8/10/2008 6:08:22 PM
While I'm on the subject of young girls, what do thet see in older men? Genuinely, I'm intrigued.
How do you reconcile the fact that a guy in his 40's won't want kids, when your own biological clock is ticking?
Outside of BDSM, is it possible for a girl in her teens/twenties to have the same interests as a guy twice her age?
Or, do you give all that up and defer to your man's wishes?
8/4/2008 5:50:22 AM
Well, after extensive tests, looks like there's a new wave of fakery about... The suspiciously similar pictures in all these new profiles must have been ripped from the same place, because multiple profiles seem to be using the same photos!

I mean, they're obvious. I see them every day on the estate: stick-thin chavvy girls, all looking the same: "bone-clones" we call 'em.

Looks like some teen dating site has been ripped and profiles created on here to fleece unsuspecting men. As they say, a fool and his money are easily parted.
Caveat Emptor!
7/19/2008 2:31:03 PM
Seems theres an influx of new girls on CM. Is it me or are they all clones? Very young: 18-24, same hairstyles, same clothes. Either dominant or submissive.
Has this site been outed to one of the chavvy girls magazines? What next? Gold-plated handcuffs and collars at Lizzy Dukes?

I have a game on IC: spot the fake. Now with some, its blindingly obvious from profile pics. So in order to make the game a little more interesting, I'm offering this advice to fake profilers.
First, no obviously posed pics. Normally people don't go to a studio to pose for pics on here. Just because the girl looks good doesn't mean you can nick her photo off the internet. Second, if your profile says Barnsley, a pic of a girl with palm trees in the background is a bit of a giveaway. Third, but rarer: if you have multiple pics on a profile, make sure they're all of the same girl!

I'd like to give info on what to write on your profile, or in emails in order to not look fake, but that would spoil the hours of laughter I have on here. But here's a hint: using English is a good start.

Heres hoping the standard of fakery improves from now on.
