About tifanny4u
why is it so hard for someone to look at a slave and tell her she is not real when she knows full well that she is?That she exists to serve a Master with all that she is to be pleasing to Him.As i have found on this site, most just get off so to speak when speaking with a slave, with having no intentions of ever taking her.It bothers me and upsets me about this. And other real slave's know full well what i am talking about.A slave knows within her heart who she is.It doesn't start with her mind,it starts from what is deep within her soul. It's something she knows she can never escape from until she is on her knees before Him.Then she is in a sense free.Free to let herself surrender to Him,free to be what she is.i've read profiles time and time again, and to be honest it's rare to see anyone who is true in who they are wether it be a Dom or slave. It's never been a game to me.This is a lifestyle choice, not because it was made that way,but because it is that way because of who we are.Her greatest fear is not leaving all behind to serve,it is the fear of never having the chance to.Never having the oppurtunity to please,to surrender,to be caged and bound,to be who she is.who she was born to be.Not everyone is made a slave or Dom.You either are or You aren't.There is never an inbetween. When a slave feels actual pain, her burning desire unleashes itself.she knows not why this happens, she knows not the time nor place, time haults. It stands still.her mind focuses on the goal, and yet within her grasp it seems so far out of reach.in a culture the overvalues ego strength at the expense of a fuller experience of all dimensions of psychic life.
In conclusion, I believe that therapists need to radically alter their approach to doing psychotherapy with masochistic patients. My colleagues complain that masochists are difficult to "cure". Perhaps because the paradigm from which these therapists operate are faulty. The recognition of value and meaning in the desire to suffer humiliation runs counter to the prevailing attitude in psychology. The main thrust of modern theory and practice has been toward ego psychology. The values of psychotherapy have been aimed, for the most part, at building strong, coping, rational problem-solving egos. Ego-values are certainly worthy ones, yet it costs something to gain strength, to cope, to be rational and to solve problems. This may account for the dissatisfaction many people feel after years of psychotherapy. Building a strong ego is only one side of the story; it neglects other, crucial parts of the human psyche. Modern psychology has been in large measure dominated by helping people develop independence, strength, achievement decisive action, coping and planning. What's missing is attention to the more subtle dimensions of soul.
