Finally, I am at a place in life where I know what is right for me and I have the ability, freedom and means to pursue it. I have spent years on okcupid, trying to find fulfillment in vanilla relationships, but none ever worked for more than a few months. The women I met were lovely people and no matter what, there will always be a missing ingredient when I try to make a vanilla relationship work in the long term. I can take the lead when I need to and by now, I have learned painful lessons about the importance of being a strong man. Perhaps the strength I have grown into is part of why my need to be in service to a woman has become so prevalent over the past few years. Its all part of the journey I suppose.
I dont have a list of fantasies I am looking to have fulfilled. I dont have a set of requirements, other than a mutual need for us to be realistic. Life goes on, family relationships are still important, careers need to be managed. Within that framework, I am ready to let someone else make decisions for me.
It is important to me to be with someone who does what is needed to remain healthy. With someone who is well read and educated, I have sparkling conversations. I am lately more liberal politically, but I grew up and into adulthood as a religious conservative.
