Well I just finished talking to one of the many fakes here. I am so surprised how amateurish they are at it. Maybe they don't need to be good, who knows. Many years ago a friend I knew from the military called me, asking for my opinion. My buddy had never owned a car, in fact he didn't get his license until after separating from the service. He called to ask my opinion about a car he was considering. I knew very little about the car, only that it was a sports car, or has I called them then, a high performance car. I have always loved high performance cars going back to my step-father's 911. Having owned a few myself explained to him the difference between owning a "practical" car and a performance vehicle. It boils down to this, when you buy a sports car you accept everything that comes with it, the higher cost of maintaining and operating it, which includes gas, tires, tune-ups, insurance, all of it. In return you get to enjoy the speed, handling and intangibles of owning this machine. He bought the car and put over 300k miles on it, which shows he took care of it and loved it. People should be like that. Before you take ownership of something consider what that really means, and question whether you are up for the task.
