Update: Currently we've had to close our household again because of some family issues that we need to focus on. Thank you for understanding. I wanted to let folks know that our household, Meadows Edge, is now open to considering more adult members for our poly, kinky family with me as head of family and the sole dominant in the group. Ideally we are looking to add two new family members. A switch but submissive leaning female who can act as a part-time nanny to one of us and serve as personal assistant to me in some fashion. A submissive male who loves bondage for play with another of us and serve as personal assistant to me in some fashion. Anyone joining us will need to be geeky, exceedingly liberal, extremely honest and open, as well as bisexual. Living close to Bloomington, Indiana, is a must since we do not have the physical space to house more members at this time but want to integrate people as much as possible. Likewise anyone wishing to join us needs to have enough income to not add any financial burden to the rest of the family, <>We have a process for getting to know folks who are interested in our family and me. We are a package deal.

<>Let me lay out that process because it is not something most people would consider doing. Obviously my slave because he's here. Some others have gone through the entire process and have served me for between 6-18 months. Most that do go through the process do so as a learning experience, leaving at the end with a deeper understanding of what they really want and the ability to go out and find it. In all, over 25 years of this process I've trained more than three dozen men and women.

<>The first step is this what we are doing right now. The second would be to exchange emails and chat that way for a while. Final email steps would be you talking to my slave and my husband in emails as well. Then we'd set up a face-to-face meeting.

<>If that face-to-face goes well we do a test scene.

<>If that goes well, and everyone is agreeable, we embark on a 14-16 week training period that meets weekly face-to-face. It is not for those with time restrictions because it involves not only face-to-face activities but also homework.

<>At the end of that period a decision is made about going separate ways (thank you very much, good luck in your life), continuing training (what my current slave first choose), or some of integration into the household. I am very, very rarely on Collarme so please do not hope for a conversation on here. Primarily I am on and even there I rarely have time for private conversations. Today is the 20th Dating Anniversary with my Husband = half my life with him!

We used to do a lot of things together of a kink nature but as we discovered ourselves more we realized we were not compatible in terms of Ds or SM.  Thus part of the value of us being poly.

I feel great after putting the 10th story for my next book up online.  Since someone bitched at me about putting links to such things in my journal here, you'll need to find it on your own I guess.

As both a writer and a book reviewer and in general a lover of freedom of information for all adults, the new policy at Amazon.com annoyed me.  I signed this petition: http://www.thepetitionsite.com/1/in-protest-at-amazons-new-adult-policy

New vampire story posted at http://thetammyjo.livejournal.com/.

Remember you must "friend" me there in other to read it.  You do the "friend" thing, I "friend" you back and then you can access it and give comments on it.  You do not need to actively keep your own live journal and signing up is free.

The story, as are all of my stories aren't short enough to share here on Collarme.  Sorry, but I'd love to get feedback from people if they have the time and interest.

(my work is far to long to post on Collarme so here is some info in case you are interested -- note the layout is messed by my this journal but the LJ version is very readable)

Here is a small sample, to read the rest go to: http://thetammyjo.livejournal.com/ and then "friend" me to it and the previous 7 stories for my next book.

"Dangerous Education"

Chavi finishes looking at our temporary home as I take the latest book out. Cornelius has been a good friend to me, though my need to lie to him is not a commentary on him but on my own coven. If they only knew these summaries and recommendations are made after discussions with my wardum, I shudder to think how they might torture her to death, though I can’t say I’m fond of the idea of being staked out for daylight with my skin stripped from the muscle.

My Beauty looks a little tired from our trip. The constant demands of various border lords and their servants to confirm she is my property as we’ve traveled this week has worn on her emotions. I’ve felt it all as it happened through our spiritual connection. Normally other Akhkharu are frightened of us, but a lone witch and her slave can also be targets for younger vampires attempting to prove their worth to their Shi or to frighten others who might be thinking of entering their territory. Our very semi-nomadic nature makes us targets, and if I want to keep the rights I’ve been given to travel to various libraries, I need to keep my temper in check.

My Beauty kneels before me and smiles, signaling that the room is free from any device or ward that might allow another to spy upon us. There was a time when this was not necessary, but laws coming from the Ummum’s Council are strict about what wardum can and cannot do. We are about to break several of these as I open the book.

Chavi shifts after several minutes of my reading and her “hearing” me so that she can focus for several hours. She must remain focused on the text at hand, though she cannot touch it beyond carrying it for me, or another of our family may discover she has read forbidden material. I cannot even risk showing her the diagrams or pictures this text on eastern magic and philosophy contains, for fear someone may see it in her mind. Our power has made us paranoid, and spies arise among my sisters. How I wish it were two centuries past, when it was much simpler to live in the shadows.

Doesn’t that passage contradict a book we read last year, Mistress?

I smile and close the book as I consider my wardum’s question. This is where my praised insights into the value of texts comes from. Chavi’s memory is amazing; my Bu only enhanced her natural gifts. Explain further.

There was a text, several in fact, where the male’s role was called forceful or commanding. Here it portrays it as servicing the inner goddess of the woman, worshipping at her temple. Are these not contradictory?

Who is active in each of these rituals?

Now she smiles and nods her head slightly. I see. In each case it is the male who does the act of sex to the female; only the motivation or interpretation changes. Thus this claim of matriarchal reclamation is a lie.

Should we not also consider the motivation of this author and his goals for the book?

He is merely lying to himself. He does not see that his new interpretation is merely phallus worship of another form.

I set the book aside and raise my skirt just enough to reveal my ankles and sandaled feet. Are you suggesting that a phallus is not worthy of worship?

Chavi arches an eyebrow as she lowers herself to the floor to begin kissing my flesh between the leather straps, then starts to untie them. I do not need it, nor do you, Mistress. Her thoughts are tinged with anger from the unnecessary fondling several of the border guards indulged in while we traveled. I am about to comment or offer comfort when she bites down hard enough on my inseam to draw bloods which she laps at as her dark eyes watch me.

My Beauty has learned much, which reduces me to the status of her slave in terms of passion, as she is mine in all other things. Soon the text is forgotten as we work to make the journey’s unpleasantness fade in our minds.

Ok, to order the new book, the one whose cover you see as my photo here on LJ, go to this website:           http://www.pup-stc.com/Eight/Merch/TJE/Mistress.html

Other than going to select science fiction, fantasy, and horror conventions, this is the ONLY way to get this book.  No, I will not have copies of it.  Too many books floating around my place at this time.

It is $20 but includes 15 stories in 260 pages -- yes, these are reprints of my earlier three books minus the stories in "Sweet Memories".  So if you weren't one of the 5000 to get those first three books, this is your chance to see what my writing was like.  The stories are organized by the original book title and in chronological order so you can see if I've gotten better -- I think I have.

Free feel to spread this address around to promote the books please.

Yup, as you may have noticed on the boards, I am in a very bitchy mood this week.  You can decide to stop reading me but you don't get to tell me how to feel.

Live Journal Updated                   http://thetammyjo.livejournal.com/
2/7/2009 7:02:27 AM
So angry right now at some thread and one poster in the "Ask a Mistress" forum that I can bare stand to be on Collarme right now.

You now, maybe my former brother-in-law was just using a little seduction or manipulation when he used to beat my sister then rape her and say "Baby, it's just a little SM".

NOT

CONSENT is the difference between what we do and things which are immoral and unethical.  If some folks can't see that then I cannot see them as part of the BDSM community.

Going to the Louisville Munch this evening (Feb 7, 2009) with my household.  Doing a little interview, reading some of my fiction then selling books.

2/2/2009 4:04:00 PM
I'll be doing a live broadcast in Second Life again tomorrow evening at 9pm Eastern time. I'll be in a sim called "Perversion Bondage Bordello". I'll be reading for approximately 1 hour.
1/24/2009 7:13:33 AM
I'm doing a workshop on SL in less than an hour (11am Eastern time).  The topic "Erotic Literature as a Form of Communication".  It will be in the femdom sim "The Velvet Thorn".
1/23/2009 9:41:31 AM
Vampire story #7, the first of the 4th pair for the book I'm working on.  This is fem-fem in nature.

You must "friend" me on my LJ to read and comment on it.

http://thetammyjo.livejournal.com/
1/22/2009 10:17:36 AM
On Friday, January 23, 2009, I'm reading at 8pm Eastern time or 5pm SecondLife Time in the sim The Velvet Thorn.  I'll be premiering some of the stories I'm currently working on.
1/18/2009 9:49:29 AM
WHOA!!!

I'm not sure if this was the max but when I was taking a breath and looked my shoutcast said I had 106 people listening to me at one point.

That's my highest audience ever.  The previous one was years ago at TES when I had about 90 folks listening to me at a live, face-to-face reading.

12/27/2008 9:30:33 AM
Updated my LJ with another vampire story but you must "Friend" me there in order to read it.
http://thetammyjo.livejournal.com/
12/5/2008 9:13:57 AM
I've gotten on to Twitter, MySpace, and Facebook now if anyone else is on these things you can find me there as well as my livejournal which is at: http://thetammyjo.livejournal.com/
11/25/2008 6:50:31 AM
So angry today.

I finally get sells reports for the last year from my publisher and it claims that between my two books they have just sold over 200 copies.

These are my 5th and 6th books.  I am not a new writer.  My earlier books sold 5000 copies in their first two years so what does this say about the marketing and distribution of this current publisher?

Have you all heard of me and my books?  Probably not considering how this publishing is promoting things.

So, does anyone out there know of a better publisher who can promote and get books into stores who is interested in intelligent female dominant BDSM fiction?

Oh, and for folks who think books cost too much.  Guess how much I get for each book sell in terms of my royalty?  84 cents, yes only 84 cents!

Just contact me directly if you want a copy and we can talk about how to get one right from the author, signed just to you.

Love, Peace, Hugs, Kisses, Whips & Chains,

TammyJo

Ah, yesterday was my birthday and I am now 39 years old.  I know some folks get all worried about getting older.  I say worried spent on things you cannot change is foolish. I can hardly wait until the 40 marker next year.  39 seems a bit anticlimatic ina lot of ways.
7/8/2008 5:52:51 AM
Inconjunction went well -- sold enough books to cover hotel plus gas so all it cost was food.

Two pieces of big news:

First I may have found a publisher to put out my old stories again along with some new material.  These books would be marketed to the science fiction/fantasy community.

Second, I have a LiveJournal now so you can read my weekly postings and sharing of new fiction.  http://thetammyjo.livejournal.com/
6/9/2008 5:58:51 AM
Just in case you are a geek and on Second Life, here's an announcment related to that.  I'm doing a public, living reading of my fiction in SL on Wednesday, June 18, at 5:30pm SL time.  It is hosted by the Velvet Thorn Hot House.
6/3/2008 7:18:36 AM
I am confirmed for GLLA 7 -- I'll be doing a reading, I promise a different story than at Inconjunction in case folks are at both and there is usually som overlap.
http://greatlakesleather.org/
5/26/2008 7:44:43 AM
I'm off to Inconjunction again for the 4th of July weekend.  http://www.inconjunction.org/  I'll be premiering stories from my next collection of erotica for the first time -- it's a vampire collection this time.
3/14/2008 8:07:48 AM
Off to Millennicon 2008 in about 90 minutes.
3/12/2008 5:46:34 AM
Warning: I'm in a particularly bad mood.  Job search is not going as I'd hoped.  I'm falling somewhere between teacher and researcher and that's basicaly no where for the schools.  I'm feeling stupid and lots of other bad things.  I have to get over it cause I have Millennicon here this weekend where I'm previewing a new book concept and a new vampire story plus a game and panels.  Problem is that I don't think anyone else is ever close to as disappointed in me as I am in myself and I find myself locking their words of encouragement and support out. It's also really impacting my feelings of dominance which is hurting my household.  I have to get a grip.
3/4/2008 12:13:44 PM
Back from another campus visit.  Let's hope this one is the one or I'll be in Bloomington for another year waiting for the new academic season.
3/1/2008 6:15:22 AM
Heading to Denver tomorrow for another campus visit.
2/12/2008 7:00:06 AM
Second campus visit down.  Think it went well.  Each department has to choose the person they think is the best fit for them; it really isn't personal.  So I might be back on again depending on if I can catch up on my sleep after all this flying around.  I've been on more planes in the past month and a half than in the previous 5 years before!
2/8/2008 2:25:27 PM
Ok, I had my first on campus visit this week plus two more telephone interviews and a tentative offer to come to another campus.  That depends on if I get an offer from the school I was just at or from the one I'm headed to on Monday.

So still out of touch folks until I get some offers then I'll want to ask about the Scene in the area I might move to.
2/3/2008 6:27:33 AM
Out of touch for the next week and half because I have campus visits.
1/31/2008 2:29:03 PM
Oh, I just noticed that "Servants of Destiny"'s price is lowered on Amazon.com.  That's a more reasonable price for it in my opinion.  It makes no impact on my royalities because I'm paid by the price the store pays, not the customer.

In other news, I'm off to the Philly area on Monday for my first on-campus interview.  I have another near Boston the following week.  So we may be moving back toward the East Coast again.

Fingers crossed please for good luck.
1/7/2008 3:10:21 PM
I'm back.  I think/hope my interviews went well. I'll see over the next month if they turn into something more.
1/2/2008 4:14:05 PM
I'm off to DC for several days so I'll be offline here on collarme and most everywhere else.  I have an academic conference and first round job interviews so wish me luck.  I should be back online by Tuesday, January 8, 2008.
12/4/2007 12:19:36 PM
Good health news.  Finishing my PhD has resulted in a sharp decline in my blood pressure level -- entirely very healthy now!  And I've lost 3 pounds since defense as well though I haven't changed my eating at all.
11/20/2007 11:55:13 AM
w00t!

I have my first interview lined up.  A bit sooner than I had expected but that's cool.  Yuck, now I have to get the plane tickets and that won't be inexpensive.
11/5/2007 5:49:18 AM
My slave has redesigned my website.
10/26/2007 1:17:49 PM
I have successfully defended my dissertation!!!!!
Come December 15, 2007, I will be a Doctor of Philosophy of Ancient History.
10/25/2007 11:21:04 AM
Tomorrow between 10am and Noon I'll be defending my dissertation.

I'll post tomorrow afternoon if I succeeded and will be called "Doctor Mistress" by my slave for a while as a reward for myself.
10/2/2007 1:14:57 PM
For the love of everything!!!!

I'm still sick and now I'm on 6 different types of medicine.  To make it worth my stress level is creating a cycle with the illness but the illness is causing some of my stress too.
9/25/2007 8:44:12 AM
Happy Birthday to me!
I'm sick as can be with a virus that zapped my voice so I can't even teach.
Hurray for me.
Why is it that I own another human being but I can't even control my own health?  Oh, wait, cause I'm not Divine, I always forgot.
and my sarcasm meter is way up to day to make up for my illness I think.
9/15/2007 7:34:43 AM
What a week!
First I slipped in the kitchen and did damage to my ankle so that I had to go on "rest" for a few days. I hate "rest" -- being served because I desire it, hot; being served/taken care of because I need it, big downer.
Second, Fox discovered at least one possibly two mice on the ground level where his room is. He's totally freaked, slept on the couch upstairs and hasn't gone down stairs since he set out 4 traps he and I bought. Luckily the husband is very brave with these sorts of problems once you get him started and he's caught one this morning. Now he's working on figuring out where it came from. Me? I'm more worried about fleas so I bought lots of flea and egg killer to spray everywhere.
8/27/2007 8:56:47 AM
GLLA2007 was a good success -- sold 21 books in all.

The next few weeks I will not be around here much.  Classes starting and I'm finishing my dissertations intro and conclusion.  I may pop in for a few minutes a day but any emails anyone sends me may just sit in my box for a few weeks.  Hope you all understand.
8/20/2007 12:21:21 PM
Today is a mixed day.

I'm excited about GLLA (please come buy books) this weekend but I'm very busy getting ready for the semester to start and for two big meetings this week on campus.

Then I get unnice news from the husband. The company he is working for is not doing so well. They are increasing employee health insurance from 50% to 70% so less take home pay. plus they laid off one person and downgraded another to part-time -- not him, hopefully he is safe. But it is scary. This is way I insist we save money even though he'd love to spend it like water. And this is way I have to finish and find a tenure track job.

And why you all need to buy my books. (shameless plug)

8/8/2007 9:04:14 AM
So Fox turned 27 yesterday.  We thought that my husband had other gaming plans so made family plans for tonight but the husband's plans fell through.  *sigh* thus it goes with poly households.  Oh, well, we spread out the celebration over two nights then though not as kinky an evening as we would have liked last night.  At least Fox kicked our butts in Wii bowling -- the first time he's ever managed to do that (and no we didn't let him win).
7/21/2007 9:23:05 AM
The winning title is "Sweet Memories of Pain & the Future of Pleasure" from the thread in the "Ask a Mistress" forum.  Still waiting to hear from the person who suggested it so I can arrange for their free book.
7/10/2007 8:29:42 AM
My publisher wants another book and he likes the idea of reprinting some of my earlier stories along with pieces that were in smaller magazines or anthologies with something new.

He wants a great title but my mind is blank.  I need your help and in return if your suggestion is choosen I will not only mention you in the introduction but I'll send you a signed copy of said book when it comes out.

The book will have old favorites like "Punishment for the Crime" and it's follow-up "Justice" as well as "Captain's Gaze" that I did for a charity and a new vampire piece.  Not sure how many stories it will have yet but it will be about 50,000 words in total.

You can email ideas to me here at Collarme.com

7/9/2007 7:03:46 AM
I think the convention went pretty well.  I sold an above average amount of the books compared to most of the other authors there.  Of course I really heavily over estimated how many books to bring. I'll have them for GLLA then at the end of August.  I made some connections that may prove useful and some people from a convention in OH asked me to contact them.  I missed having Fox with me though -- he's a much better minion than my husband can be.  But he took care of everything at home as I instructed and knowledge made me unconcerned about anything other than the con itself.
7/6/2007 8:56:53 AM
Why am I feeling so nervous about Inconjunction?  I've done panels there before, even an impromptu reading, and I've even run a RPG too.  But this time my names in the publicity and in the booklet and on the schedule.  Am I worrying that folks will expect more now that I'm a featured guest/author?  I'm still just TammyJo, the only person I can be.
7/3/2007 7:22:47 AM
Things are getting done here for the weekend. Yesterday I designed accounting sheets to keep track of which books sell when as well as signs for my table. This morning, while WoW is down (I'm such a geek), I counted the books so I'll know if any turn up missing. I'm taking my last collection of short stories (Eroscapes) and my novel (Servants of Destiny). I figured out that if I sell 25 books, I'll have made back the cost of them. Yes, you do get a few free copies as the author but after that you usually pay 50% of the cover price. I'm even offering a special deal of both books for $30 instead of the $32 they would really cost. Actually at Amazon.com they are charging +$1 for Servants so getting from me is a much better deal plus I sign it.

I wrote out and printed out a "to do" list for Fox, my slave, for the weekend while we're gone.  I have full faith and trust in him but this feels more reassuring to us.  Sorry, folks, they are rather mundane things on the list. If I can't benefit first hand from sex or kink, I'm not dictating it for him while I'm gone.  His ongoing order to try new ways to masturbate at least once  a week is his only sexy order that I'm not directly around for.  But I spot check that regularly.

Getting very excited now for Inconjunction.
http://www.inconjunction.org/

I'll be busy with 6 panels, a reading and running a Ghoul: Fatal Addiction RPG. But I hope I sell a lot of books too. I'm bringing both "Eroscapes" and "Servants of Destiny". If you live or near Indianapolis you should check it out.

Back from our vacation.  Was not very relaxing because my spouse forgot his very important medicine and we spent the bulk of our actual anniversary day trying to get a prescription so he could get a small amount there.  Over $10 a pill!  Not covered by his insurance at the only pharmacy up where we were vacationing.  Made me very pissed off.  But the B&B was very nice -- I recommend the Songbird Prairie highly up in Valpraisio Indiana.

Well, I'll be gone a few days.  The husband and I are off toward the north to stay at a B&B not far from Lake Michigan.  Why?  Our 15th wedding anniversary is Wednesday.

Oh, dang.  The last episode of "Blood Ties" until the fall.  Last episodes of most of the shows Fox and I watch together -- "Heroes" tonight.  On the up side I'll have more time to work on this collection of vampire stories perhaps.

Goodness.  Nine days without my computer.  Do you have any idea how difficult that is for an academic who is also an author?  I'll tell you that this made me the most grumpy of bitches I have ever been in my household.  So much to catch up on.  Just taking  a break from it here to look at Collarme.

All right!

My author copies came yesterday so I have my first published novel in my hands.

If anyone is interested in an autographed copy, send me a note on here and I'll give you an email address to write to so we can discuss the costs and shipping information.  I'm not comfortable giving out my address on here and I'm not supposed to give my website or email on this journal.

FYI: I won't accept credit cards; I'm not a business I'm just an author with a new book, I'm not set up for the expense of credit cards or anything like that.

If course you can probably get it cheaper via Amazon if you order something else and get their free shipping&handling promotion.

Mom is all ready out of the hospital so it was just a very mild stroke.

In good news my website has a minor update -- noticed one problem but that can be fixed later today.

12/20/2006 5:59:41 AM
Well, I got a phone call last night I didn't need the night before my online radio interview.  My father called to say my mother had a stroke.  He is very very upset -- his life is built around hers in ways hers is just not built around his.  I had to be the adult often as a child when she was in and out of the hospital.  Anyway, I hope typing this and getting it out of my system for a bit will allow me to focus on this interview.

I just finished reading two great books by Robert J. Rubel -- his protocols handbook and his master/slave relationship handbook.  Well written, very realistic and helpful guidance without being preachy or "one true way".

GO VOTE!

Yes, I have a preference but my duty as an American is to vote so if you are an American do your duty.

As the elections get closer I find myself more and more pissed off at so-called BDSMers who are "conservatives," "neo-cons" or who can support most of the "Republican" agenda.  I'm really tempted to add "Democrats or Independents" only to my profile.

Fox and I just finished our 4 day celebration of our 7th anniversary by taking him and getting his ears piereced -- yes both of them.  He's scanning in a new bathtub picture of me we took in our nice hotel room.  I may or may not put it up on here.  He gathered all the food, prepared all the meals and thoroughly pampered me for these four days.  Very sweet and romantic.

My Birthday.

Hurray me!

Just updated a few things in my profile to reflect recent changes, yes age is one of them.

Just a note on here since once again I can't figure out how to edit my profile even when I hit edit profile...

Anyway.

I don't do chat -- not on here, not in IM, not anywhere.  So please do not send me a chat request.

Send me an email and get to know me.  I do not chat with strangers.

Well, a difficult decision was made that the gentleman I was talking to just won't fit well in our household.  I do wish him every luck in finding someone.  He is a nice man and very service focused.  If I had his permission I'd mention his CM id here so others might approach him.
6/7/2006 5:58:19 AM
I'm back to searching out new members for my household.  I've updated my profile a bit to reflect this.

Currently I would love to add another woman to the mix.  A female slave, bisexual, who could also serve as a loving nanny for my husband's adult baby fetishes from time to time.

I am also currently in serious talks with a potentail male slave.  While I am open to talking to others, if he works out well, I would then be looking to add another male slave.

There are only so many we can safely and kindly add to our household at a time afterall.

Several cool things to write about.  My book reviews (almost 150 of them) will be available on othersex when that website comes online sometime this summer.   Hopefully KinkyBooks.com will finished with its website revamping and I'll start doing my weekly reviews again -- its been almost two years!  Second, I just found out today that I have a teaching position for the full 2006-2007 school year. Health insurance worries are over and I can get some teaching energy going to supplement my research drain.  Third, my first two chapters of my dissertation were very well received by my committee so I'm working on the third. If these go as well I hope to defend in the spring.  Fourth, I've been assigned some really neat Christian science fiction and fantasy books to review for an upcoming title called "Masterplots II: Christianity" which has essays on the top 500 "Christian" books in English.  And to top it off, Fox is doing much better and I think we are nearing a break through. Hopefully we will be opening out home up to potential slaves soon... *fingers crossed*

Unfortunately some difficulties have arisen here in my household that I need to focus on instead of starting a new relationship or even evaluating one. I wish it wasn't the case but life happens and it requires my attention.

I honestly don't know how long it will be before I can be actively looking again and I intend to change my profile to say this right at the top of it this morning.

I'm happy to chat about other things but I can't think about potentials right now.

This is one of the down sides of poly -- multiple areas and people who need your attention.

Sincerely,
TammyJo

Talked to my publisher and my novel "Servants of Destiny" is scheduled for a Fall 2006 release.  He's also working on getting me to Printer's Row in Chicago and Thunder in the Mountains this summer.  Perhaps minor events between then and now but he'll let me know.

Well, we could go out with another family to a restaurant but my slave wanted to make a more traditional dinner at home for the three of us.  So I agreed -- as long as he does all the cooking.  Bit of a worry for me because I'm very protective of my kitchen and I know nothing about making a turkey.  I bought all the food, now he just has to figure out how to make it all and time it for Noon.

Currently I am reading Jack Rinella's latest book "Becoming a Slave: The Theory & Practice of Voluntary Servitude".  He's asked me to review it -- I was one of several people who read the first draft and offered advice so I suspect my review will be good.
