I believe Dominance and submission to be refined and artistic forms of erotic expression, elevating sexuality above and beyond the mundane and mechanically carnal. Non-symmetric relationships are the ideal framework for the cultivation of the necessary consonance to maximize harmony and pleasure.
I am a bondage/shibari aficionado and consider it my favorite BDSM practice. In fact, if it doesn’t contain ropework, I don’t even consider it a session. I am sadistic as well ranging from mild, sensual sadism to quite intense, depending on the inspiration/needs of the moment, equipment at hand and the partner’s tolerance. I am not into role-playing, session scripts or heavy protocol. I find facades and roles superfluous and boring. BDSM for me is natural and effortless, stylish yet non-pretentious. I am heavily into art. Music (Stravinsky, not Rihanna), cinema (Kurosawa, not Spielberg), dance (Bejart, not syrtaki and r’n’b), literature (Kafka, not Coelho), theatre, poetry, you get the picture.
