Just realized I never quite updated my journal...the trip was long, boring and strenuous, but I made it up here!

Update on the where-I-am situation...November 1st will be my last *planned* day in Alabama (Homecoming Game, Roll Tide!)...after that I will be a-headin' north, to New York City, and eventually to settle into a nice, fun routine of monthly commutes to a unit out of Connecticut, and occasionally to the summer house in Vermont.
So...if your profile is labeled as New York, Vermont or anywhere nearish there...I am *actually* going to be there in not too long...

So as some folks already know...Alabama is not a final stop for me. In the next coming months I will be in Oklahoma for a bit, and Missouri for a bit longer in the next couple of months...and then the fun of grad school! New picture up...
Went to Whippersnappers at 1763 in Atlanta this past weekend...and I am continuously impressed by the amount and quality of space the groups in Atlanta have with 1763.
Had a fun time other then not really knowing anyone...but shall return next month...especially since I left my phone charger at a friends house :)

So its thanksgiving weekend...everyone is gone from the huge metropolis that is Tuscaloosa...so time for some journal writing I suppose :)
I actually suceeded in *not* burning a turkey this year....and now I have 10-some odd pounds worth of smoked turkey sitting in my fridge...for any of those who smoke a turkey, it comes out black as tar....that doesn't mean its *burnt*...it just looks that way :)
