Holy fuck, the one thing that really sets me off: people not listening to me.
Sigh... horny. Just finished shaking the bejeezus out of our 5 story building. Our earthquake tests (and marathon inspections) really got the adrenaline flowing.
I can now genuinely understand the first season 'Game of Thrones' scene - after a fight, I really do need a fuck!
There's something empowering about driving a 4 ton piece of construction equipment that will lift you 100 ft in the air... There's also an adrenaline rush when you get it up on 3 wheels... (You'd think I should say oops, but it was a learning experience and was safe... except when I lost traction, but also a good learning experience to teach myself how to recover)
And to top it all off, I was using the boom lift to run a cable along the first floor.... In my defense we had opened up the pit for maintenance, so there was no other safe way to run it, but I'm sure to the un-informed I must have looked insane with the basket only 2 feet in the air.
Ugh... so much time this week on the shake table, and I didn't even get my 15 minutes of fame on the news ;-) Though, I did shy away from the cameras and I'm still not used to the two that follow me around everywhere... I kid you not.
I just made the decision to watch Season 2 of The Walking Dead instead of doing my term paper... poor choice for a number of reasons. I don't think I'll be able to sleep for a week. Plus, season 2 seems to be "catastrophes happen because the characters make completely stupid and uninformed decisions"

It's been a long day of working incredibly hard, yet accomplishing nothing. My iPhone crashed, and I spent 3 hours to get it up and running (first world problems...). Really... 3 hours of my life for something that used to be a luxury, but now I can't live without.
Before that it was hours of e-mails for a project that is quickly sinking under the waves. It seems like I am the only one who sees it, and the only one who is able to fix it, but yet the least qualified or able. This project is pure stress. I can't even remember why I'm doing it; it just depresses me and makes me realize how lonely I am.
I think I actually am crazy. And somehow, that isn't so bad. I welcome crazy with open arms.
