After many years considering myself a strict submissive, this jarring shift has come as a surprise to me, but strangely enough not those around me. My girlfriend was not particularly surprised, and was quite eager to help me along the way. I am very happily coupled and completely monogamous. I like to think of myself as fun, vibrant, and engaging. On most days, this tends to be true. I have an anxiety disorder, however, and deal with it by sometimes being quiet, shy, and a bit standoffish. I'm not unfriendly, just wary and a little freaked out sometimes. I am comfortable in large groups as long as I have one or two people I know there to touch base with on occasion. It's difficult for me because I love meeting new people, but it's sometimes very hard. This is the reason why it sometimes takes me a while to say anything in a group or even message someone back. I am not trying to be rude, just trying to get comfortable with my surroundings. If you message me, please tell me one (non-sexual) talent, skill or hobby you have.
I am a writer. I'm very creative and have a tendency to live in my own world. Sometimes I drift off in my mind and someone has to bring me back to whatever is going on at the time. I find inspiration in everything around me and at any given time I have hundreds of different story threads swimming in my mind. I love literature, and I love discussing it. My favorite genres are sci-fi and fantasy, and I can't get enough of either. The easiest way for me to ease into discussion with someone is to talk about/debate books. I also love video games. I play primarily RPGs and can sit in front of a game for hours a day if I don't stop myself. Do you game? If so, name your favorites.
I do not like being called Mistress, Goddess, Queen or anything like that by total strangers, but I respect the rules and wishes of others. I would hate for anyone to be uncomfortable or to break a rule while speaking with me. Though I strongly prefer that honorifics be reserved for my own girl's use, if you must use something, Ma'am is an acceptable alternative to the above. I am not your baby or your honey. I am not sexy, slut, cunt, bitch, or any other colorful name you can think of. Acceptable ways of addressing me are by my screen name, Ma'am (if you must), or just simply Tai. I think we can both respect each other's boundaries and wishes and get along just fine.
