I must be easily amused... More than once I have been asked if the hat I wear in one of my pictures is a "ten gallon hat." If one knew what that was, I would assume they wouldnt have to ask, now would they? Here is a description of what one is:

"A ten gallon hat is often thought to be large enough to hold ten gallons of water. This is not true (unless you have an exceptionally large head). The gallon in "ten gallon hat" derives from the Spanish galón meaning braid. So a ten-gallon hat is a hat with a braiding around the brim. A ten-gallon hat holds 3/4 gallon or 3 quarts."

Most thoughtful message received today... "are you as slutty as you look?" .. .. .. Really?

 Held a nice little conversation today, though, and this is something that crossed my mind: "I often read on here how they dont understand why these girls run from them and then call them fakes (not excluding the ones that really ARE fakes.) I have been very disappointed, frustrated, and overwhelmed with the insanity I have found in my very short time discovering and exploring this whole new world. If having a mind, an opinion, a little bit of intelligence, and a real life is not considered being submissive (yes, I have been told these things a few times LOL).. then so be it. I am still who I am.. with or without the concepts or terms put upon me."

I spent a couple hours this morning working on a lengthy journal entry from the heart about the intelligence of people on this site.. but found myself lacking by not copying my writing often and lost the whole thing just before saving it. :(  I hope I can get the inspiration back at some point to write something as indept again.

In the meantime, I was reading profiles and journals, as usual.. Why is it that there is only a rare few Dominants that actually get it? Here is most of a quoted profile (minus the personal details):

LOL.. and paranoia set in today.. I had to go look at my OWN profile to see if someone hacked it because of how many I saw in the "who's viewing me?" list!! LOL

Please enjoy and ponder who I am and who I might be by reading my insane profile.. I think I am taking a break from seeking for now to focus on any current friends and relations I have made thus far.

And why is it that, when this sort of decision is made, I suddenly recieve an abundance of messages from people that seem intelligent and actually put thought into what they wrote? Yes, my profile is designed to weed out the buggers that are here for whatever crazy reason... but why did it take this long for some to notice? LOL I guess I may never know...

I seem to find many amusing quips in my profile/journal reading wanderings on this site:

 "I notice a lot of Doms like to take pictures of their motorcycle.  It is one thing to have a pic taken with a motorcycle, but just a pic of the motorcycle seems to lack something.  Maybe submissives need to take pics of their scooters."

I was gracing through some profiles that popped up on the home page today and ran across this from a Dom (I was fool enough to copy it, but forgot to remember who it was to post it as a quote.. I appologize to the writer). I found this humorously amusing :) I hope you do too!!
