Recently we went to a friend's home to experience her Dungeon.? It was an interesting experience for me.? My Husband and I had a very interesting time.? I had my first experience with electricity and a spanking bench.? I *really* liked playing with the violet wand.? It's amazing how much thrashing around I could do tied to a bench:)? Lots of fun.

I visited a Dungeon yesterday. It wasn't at all what I expected. OK. So how did I know what to expect? Probably bad exposure to TV and media, I guess... maybe descriptions in "erotic novels". Those items lead me down a path to unreasonable expectation. Turns out they are a bunch of people -- some more attractive than I, some less; some heavier than I, some less and many needier than I.
Let me explain that last part. It's an emotional neediness I saw at the play place. I saw a lot of emotionally incomplete people with no capacity to understand social cues -- think grown-up D&D player at a Star Trek convention talking about using the Garden Weasel on his Bottom's bottom.
Now, I don't want to sound ungrateful because these very nice folks gave me a tour of their space and welcomed me with open arms. I was a stranger from the other coast and they showered me with kindness. I was very impressed with some of their members (though the Garden Weasel guy was not my kind of Dom).
There were several members who I considered it my privelege to have met. Thanks to Kate for her
wonderful presence - Joe and Ash too.
Overall it was an interesting experience for me. I learned a lot.
