This site still continues to baffle me. Why are people not honest? If they are not interested why don't they just say & that's the end of it? Why go so far down the communication path and then just stop with no explanations?  

Work is taking me far & wide at the moment. Back in Newcastle now but who knows where next? Cumbria is looking favourite. Certainly not Paris or Rome worse luck!

In this world of D&S, there appears to be a plethora of guidance for submissives in terms of finding the right Dominant. However, there does not appear to be too much written in respect of how a Dominant chooses a submissive! I for one would like some insight into this. I'm sure the perception that they don't need any guidance on the basis that Dominants are perceived as strong and confident, is incorrect or is it? Any feedback would be appreciated in order that it maybe used in terms of the overall learning curve.

There appears to be somewhat of a stigma that being submissive is not empowering both from a health and  a sexual perspective. This cannot true as being at the mercy of a partner can be very empowering, as it gives the space for both of you to move into your own respective mindset within play. Just a thought.

Received another flattering remark yesterday from someone regarding my profile but stating that the profile is more or less ineffective without a photo. I can see the point but I have absolutely no intention of putting a facial pic of me on the profile. I do not wish to. Thats my reason. If anyone is interested in getting to know me better then all they have to do is ask & I will send one. Also, in response to the question that was put to me, I remarked that "no", I do not x dress. Not usually anyway!

What's with people putting pictures of other people on their profile and admitting its not them but saying that "I look a bit like this?" What the hell?

What you are looking for is up to you but when will you realise that some people don't read profiles or cannot read full stop! this site is full of fakes, timewasters & those looking to knock one off in front of a screen. Asking, pleading or threatening them to stop messaging you won't work. Here's tip. Just bin the messages unread instead of bleating on about it! Easy peasy.

Does having a ‘photo’ attached to your profile guarantee that you are genuine? It appears that it is a pre requisite with some peoples yet who is to say that the picture is indeed a true representation of the facial characteristics of person behind the profile? Is it not all as a result of some people being so shallow that looks are everything and if you don’t look the part, you will not be a part? There are many ugly people in this world who may appear pleasing to the eye!

Well, I’ve decided to meet my apparent ‘glove fetishism’ head on and try and get my feeble mind around what it’s all about exactly. I’m aware that it’s a ’fetish’ which in itself is the sexual stimulation an individual may expect, often to the point of obsession, by coming into contact with another person or oneself wearing the said object of the fetish on their hands. If someone who professes to be a Dominant cannot actually spell the word, is it right to question whether they are genuine or just a bit of a dim Dom? (doorbell?) I of course have no problems in the speellingg department.

There are some skilfully constructed profiles on this site. Some of them are nothing short of poetic if truth be told and for that their makers should be applauded. I have taken to reading profiles as it is an education if nothing else. I will read profiles of Mistresses from far a field, some of which I would never dream of bothering due to the geographical distance between us. However, it is a pastime that can get you into difficulties as I found out only yesterday. Now I may be missing something but I thought that a public profile was just that, public. Unless there is a clear message in the short profile to the contrary, there is surely nothing to prevent a sub say from Lands End reading the full profile of a Mistress from say John O?Groats or vica versa? Now, I apparently committed the heinous crime of reading the full profile of a Mistress who lived all of 300 miles away and whom I was not likely to visit at any stage in the near future. This brought forth a stinging rebuke from the Mistress in question via a message which accused me of that most serious of crimes, ?.yes, being a timewaster! She also made reference to the unfeasibly small length of my male member (or was it the non existence of my penis?) and some other insults thrown in free of charge. Now, I am safe in the knowledge that I am no timewaster so it was an insult I don?t take that seriously. I am lucky to have a splendid Mistress who I am enjoying getting to know and that makes me active as far as I am concerned. However, I do resent being viewed in a way which suggested that the reason for my presence on this site is to sit in front of my puter and 'jack off', all for for my having the temerity to be curious and read the full profile of someone who, from their picture (if it was her picture) looked quite stunning may I say but who is evidently quite insecure in herself. This makes me sad. It?s a dangerous thing, passing judgement on someone you don?t know. Perhaps we should all bear that in mind. I see it's raining again. Damn.

I discovered this site only a few months ago and hoped that it would lead to new beginnings for me in this scene. However, I was initially dismayed to read some of the less than positive comments made by many of the Mistresses in so far as the site is full of fantasists & timewasters! My initial reaction was that we would all be tarred with the same brush and this would essentially hinder my progress in meeting the 'right' Mistress who could take me under her wing and tutor me in the ways of submissiveness. Well, I am glad to say that this has not been the case. I have met someone who to me is a supreme Domme and someone I feel I can trust enough to surrender to completely, something I did not think would be possible. She has already broken down a number of barriers which have in turn released certain feelings within me and this has been generally helpful to my mindset as a submissive. I certainly relish the task ahead. I dare say if she reads this she will afford herself a rye smile but hopefully she will feel complimented by my desire to document her skilled approach in this journal. The journey continues, hopefully, as long as I continue to meet her high standards. I'll be trying as hard as damn it to do so. Watch this space.....

It has been an interesting week. In fact, that is quite an understatement if truth be told. Someone, who I suspect will become a very good friend, suggested that I make these journal entries as a way of charting my progress through the various tutorial stages of understanding exactly what it means to effectively serve a Mistress. My current level, my starting point is that of enthusiastic novice but I am not without a modicum of intelligence and therefore I expect to learn quickly. I have met a lady who I believe maybe the person to mould me as a true submissive. I have told her things I have never told anyone else such is the way in which she put me at my ease. I am in her debt already and fully intend to repay that debt if I am afforded the opportunity to do so. Yes, much has happened this week but there is a very long way to go in my education if I am to fulfil my true destiny as a competent and treasured submissive. Watch this space.
