Dear Sirs, Masters, Tops and Doms,
While I have spent the majority of my life as a traditional bottom, it is only within the past year that I have come to realize that my true calling is that of a gay male submissive. I would like to introduce myself to the community and express some of my thoughts and feelings on what I perceive to be my role in life as a submissive.
I'm originally from the South and will melt at the sound of a southern accent (though not required). You might call me a "Bear", but I've never really related to that particular subculture. I'm a fairly decent looking guy, but hardly movie star material. Age is not a barrier to me when it comes to meeting new people.
Age and body type/size are not nearly as important to me as the true measure of a man such as honesty and integrity. I have very little practical experience in BDSM and so will need patience and guidance. The truly successful and rewarding experience, in my limited view, is the result of the investment of time and very deep exploration of my need to surrender and submit to the will of another.
I am HIV negative, do not do any kind of street drugs, and do not drink alcohol. While I am a light smoker, I try to be very thoughtful of those around me and would consider trying to quit with the support of the right Man.
I'm a pretty shy guy and feel very awkward in social settings, which is why I have tended to be more of a home body these past years. Encouragement from the community will be helpful so that I can break through that barrier. In the final analysis I am very excited as I look ahead to walking the path that I think I was always meant to follow.
I am working hard to get involved in the BDSM community. I am in the process of joining the Society of Janus, will be attending several upcoming events in San Francisco up to, and including, the Folsom Street Fair in September. I am also seeking Men with whom I can just become friends: Doms, subs, Masters, slaves, Sadists, masochists - I want to know you all. |
