I'm a newbie who's looking to learn as much as possible. Talking with people has been wonderful so far and I'm having fun trying to get the lay of the land. I suppose what I'm looking for is a level of trust and intimacy that I haven't come across yet in the vanilla world. The honesty and candor I've experienced so far during my foray into the kink arena has made me feel very much at home.
I have tagged myself as a submissive but still have a bit of soul searching to do before I can feel completely comfortable with that. However, it's the label that seems to fit me best so I'm going to try it on for awhile and see how it fits. For me, submission is about being vulnerable and giving...about offering love without pretense or guile...and in turn being accepted, loved, protected, and guided.
