So....I log on here and within 30 seconds we get a new message....from a Straight Dominant Male....who is looking only for sub/sub couples and slave females....very generic and just more proof that people don't read/think before they send crap here.  Everyone here could speed up by slowing down.  Don't cut and paste.  Take a minute to read a profile and some journals if you're interested in someone.  Then you won't be wasting their time....or yours....but those people aren't going to read this anyway....

So....we're still trying to find that perfect pet, but I've noticed something I find rather....odd....

There are more than a few sub girls who have posted on here "Master/Daddy/UberKingOfAllCreation" or whatever asshattery their BigLetterPerson subscribes to ordered them to put a profile up to find ideas for punishment/rules/tasks/routines/whatever.  Not that I don't run out of ideas from time to time, but I research them, find a way to mitigate the risks (because face it, some of the shit we like to do to others or have done to us in this lifestyle is pretty effing dangerous) and talk to others in the community about things.  Doms who don't do this and "task" the ones they are in charge of to do it indicates to me that they are either unimaginative, uncreative, unintelligent, unmotivated, or antisocial.....not sure these are the types of personality traits one would look for in a BigLetterPerson.  My advise to those folks:  Find your local munch.  Meet other kinksters in your area (I guarantee there are at least 100 within a 25 mile radius).  Read a couple of the BDSM books (Screw the Roses, Send Me the Thorns and The Loving Dominant should be prerequisite before you're allowed to touch any of the ouchie things, in my opinion) and show the world you're serious about the craft of BDSM.  You'll be a better Dom.  Your sub will be a better sub. This will make your local community better.  Your local community being better will make the BDSM world a better place.  The BDSM world gets better and the rest of it is bound to follow, right?  Be the change you want to see.  Butterfly effect and all.  Or continue to be lazy, uneducated and self righteous.  That seems to be the new American way (and before you flame that comment, take into account that I served in the military for a dozen or so years before I got a little blown up defending your right to be fat, dumb and happy over here....I love my country, but some in the government and the populace I could do without).

At any rate, spring is way to short.  Hope it sunny and beautiful wherever you are.  Now go outside.  Do something.

Our initial emails may be short, but that's because, for the most part, we approach this like we'd approach getting to know someone if we met them at a bar, social event or whatever....It's called a "conversation".  Some rail about "training" or whatever would indicate that we think there's such thing as "one size fits all" BDSM.....

We're getting a little brought down by the fakes on this site....although they are amusing as hell....I bet they think they're clever, but.....yeah....
