About SophistiGoth
You can also call me, "Funeral Director Ken" ;-> ... ...because I actually enjoy wearing suits, and I am always more comfortable in my tailored clothing. This also helps me manage my duality in respect to being a working professional, and also a Fetishest. As you get to know me you'll realize that, "Jack of all trades, master of none, but still a lot of fun!"" ;-> ...is not just a saying, it describes me perfectly. I may look like an average guy, but I'm far from it. I'm well networked in industry, and I have many friends in the Boston scene, and various other regions as well. Boston is my home, and my heart. I have my own businesses, and many interests as you can see. Honest communication is one of the most important values I believe in, and it has carried me through some difficult times in life. I love many types of music, and dancing. When I've had a long day, I will dance the night away, love doing so with steady dancing partners as well; however I know some are shy, so no worries if this is the case. I enjoy artistic events, music concerts, orchestra, comedy shows, movies (typical release, independent, and foreign) and more. I will play sports, but I will not watch them. In the immortal words of the Late George Carlin, "I'd rather watch flies fuck!" Love to try out new experiences with food and restaurants. Speaking of which, I like to cook, and I'm not a certified chef, but sometimes people think I'm master chef because I've always had the food I cook heavily complimented. I get my exercise from Yoga stretches, and toning exercises are preferred with some cardiovascular work (i.e. running, swimming, and cycling). Frequent "Sexercise" is always preferred. ;-) Meditating by my Ganesha Statue during rare occasions when I have available time is important to me, and helps me focus when there's a lot on my mind, so that I can produce damned good results in all aspects of my life. I believe in standing by people in all personal friendships and more. I have maintained many friendships, and relationships because of this important practice that I know is important to everyone. Keep this in mind if you wish to connect with my Fiance, or I, and remember... "Discretion is the better part of valor!" , so be on your best behavior or we might have to spank you! ;-> IMPORTANT RULES TO FOLLOW AROUND ME: 01: Pictures are preferred in messages; although not required by any means. Please keep this in mind when sending messages. 02: While some people may mistake the way I dress, and my formal mannerisms for being a bit of a stiff, there's only one way to get me stiff. In other words, take the time to be yourself, and get to know me. You'll be pleasantly surprised. 03: "Heteroflexible!" I like this word because I am mostly straight, so please don't be one of those "needy type of guys" and expect me to friend you or want you because you're a sub, or TG, or whatever your status may be. We all are entitled to our pursuits in life; however in my experience here on , such people occasionally happen upon my profile, clearly don't read it, and then try to friend me. I don't enjoy blocking people that do this, so take the time to send a message, or have a conversation, and we'll see where it goes. If you don't understand that this is a "Hard Limit" for me, then I will block you. C'mon, if you're a good person, read the profile, and show some respect. I'd do it for you. 04: I am a Dom, and if I say "No" I mean it. Don't try to convert me because you'll fail. If you happen to enjoy failing, then please feel free to try. ;-> 05: I respect, "Safe, Sane, Consensual," play, so if you're a sub, and say "no" I'll be respecting you. 06: I believe in building relationships and communicating with people through "Empathy" not "Sympathy," so never come to me looking for a "Pity Party," and don't offer your input into things that you don't have a frame of reference for or experience with either to fake empathy. This is how people start drama by making fools of themselves, and I will lose respect for you real fast if you do any of the above. 07: If you ever ask for my advice, I can only promise it will be honest, civil, and direct. Be careful what you wish for because I am not the type of person that will tell you what you want to hear, I'll just tell you what I think I should honestly be telling you. Remember, "The ONLY 'NICE' THING ABOUT ADVICE, is that you don't have to take it." 08: I am a business person, and even my Fiance knows that my career comes first. 09: Treat others as you wish to be treated, and remember that I too follow this rule. 10-A: I am from and reside in the Boston Area, and in some cases people don't like the Boston Attitude. While I am often considered to be very gentry as a Bostonian, I am not always so in that I am very honest and direct as many of those locally born and raised in the area are. Boston is a very complex and diverse social community, so you may not always approve of how people like myself and other Bostonian's conduct themselves if you're from out of town. Just remember, Bostonian's like myself eventually figure out how to deal with people who are not Original Bostonians and face the challenges in learning to understand them when we travel to their regions, so please be sure to show us the same respect if you're not an original Bostonian because in the long run, you'll wind up with a lot of great, supportive, loyal people in your life who are both intelligent and tougher than a full set of coffin nails. Thank you. 10-B: Rule 10-A (a.k.a. "Rule 10") exists because in the past few years Boston has become a highly transient community. While Boston has always been highly transient because of having the best schools and medical facilities in the country and being a global contender in the areas of medicine, science, technology, bio-technology, and more; it has become so even more than in its prior history. In consideration of this dramatic shift in the number of steady inhabitants in our city please remember that those of us born and raised here consider this "our house." Just like nobody from Boston would come to your house and start criticizing your way of life, it is expected from me and others who are local that it is understood that it is local people that run things in the Boston Community, and people from outside of our town understand that will continue to be the case when they and/or if they leave Boston, whether they're transitioning because of school, career, and/or both. Boston is aware of its reputation in other areas outside of our city borders. That being said, on behalf of all of Boston, we hope everyone enjoys Boston, and gets to truly know its people without misunderstanding its people. Elvis Presley once said it best when dealing with a manner of pretension, "Son, you ain't walked a day in that man's shoes, so don't criticize what you don't understand!" Remember, if you're not an original Bostonian take your time in getting to know Boston because in the long run, you'll wind up with a lot of great, supportive, loyal people in your life who are both intelligent and tougher than a full set of coffin nails. That's a decision nobody can regret. 11: Remember, forgiveness is a beautiful thing, and is rarely impossible, so don't be a drama queen and hold grudges because nobody who's respect is worth having will care about your grudge(s) or respect you if you forget how to forgive. 12: "Jack of all trades, master of none, but still a lot of fun!" ;-> Remember, like the sign says, "If you lived here, you'd be home now!" From Storrow Drive Apartments Advertisement in Boston, MA. "Party on, Kink On, and Never Take Anything Too Seriously!" 13: Judge me, and be prepared to be judged. I am a very accurate and direct judge of character. If you're going to be a judgmental person, be assured I will act as an assessor of whether or not such a person is genuine in their conduct, or disengenuous in their interactions with people. I have made this "Rule 13" for a reason, so judge me, and I WILL judge you back. More often than not, you will not like what I have to say if you're the type of pretentious, suppositious, and presumptuous person who goes around passing judgment on people. That being said, let's get to know each other, so as not to cross the path of the dreaded "Rule 13." Thank you. Remember, like the sign says, "If you lived here, you'd be home now!"
