"We all need somebody... to lean on."
After spending an amount of time on this site, I've found myself troubled at the amount of bitterness, hurt, defensiveness, and overall ugliness that goes on here. It's hard to find a profile nowadays that doesn't include something about being hurt, used, scammed, or walked over and well-meaning people are being forced to take a defensive role just to survive the onslaught of english-butchering one-liners, credit card scammers, or shallow fakes that are nothing like they claim to be.
This troubles my heart greatly. I see an overwhelming need for humanity, a cry for intelligent, non-demeaning conversation, a plea for a shoulder to cry on for a bit.
This is why I'm here. I don't want to have sex with you. I don't want to see your boobs. I don't want you to kneel while you type, address me as any title, or degrade yourself just for a bit of attention.
I want to help. I want to offer my shoulder, my time, my ears. Do you want to vent about how someone used you and left you hurt? Do you want affirmation that you're a beautiful and worthwhile person? Do you want to have a giggle talking about your favorite pokemon? I'm here for you.
Please note, I sincerely expect nothing from you, consider it a service I am happy to provide to a community much in need. Please don't feel the need to offer anything in return, it is my pleasure to make the world a little bit better for someone for a little while.
