About SolitarySoul

Who is truly simple?
I will introduce myself as a multitude of contrasts
empathetic yet cold,
impulsive and deliberate,
sensual and restrained,
impious yet spiritual,
fickle yet constant
hopeless optimistic and unfailing cynic,
grounded in reality, mind filled with fantasies.
I want a white picket fence, and an orgy of flesh.
Patience hath no better adherent,
but even patience can come to an end.

In the main, like every other woman.
But the devil is in the details.

I am a domme switch.
I am mostly dominant, my submission will be intermittent.

I am looking to find a male switch, a dom to be a partner, a domme or female switch for a partner or subs/subbes and maybe even a combination of the above. I am interested in multiple partners (a poly situation, not swinging) but am willing to compromise.

I am interested in many bdsm practices, with the exception of scat, watersports, bestiality, children, breath control and age play.

Interested in an LTR, which means vanilla compatibility is important.

Trust is mandatory.

Please be near the same age,
I will not consider over 10 years older than I, nor more than 5 years younger than I.
This decision is made from experience.

Not interested in TG, TV, CD or any other initials.

There is more in heaven and earth, Horatio,
than are dreamt of in your philosophies.

How ironic.  I criticize the disappearing subs, and then I disappear.  Fucking brilliant.

Anyway, I don't know that I'm "back" really.  I like BDSM and whatnot, but I don't think this website is the way to go about finding it.  So, I'm pretty much going to live my life, and sometime during the dating process it'll have to be addressed.  Y'know, slip it in somewhere between "Would you like to have kids?" and "What are your dreams for the future?"

Another reason is that I don't want my life to be completely defined by BDSM.  It's going to be an element, an added dimension to my life, yes, but not the overwhelming reason for it, as it would seem to be if I sought a relationship on here.

So, to everyone who sent me a message in the past 8 months that I did not respond to, my apologies.  If you want a response, you could try messaging again, but I make no promises as to my presence here.
I am tired of the disappearing subs.
For a sub-culture so persecuted by the "vanilla" life, we are surprisingly intolerant of each other--i.e. dom/me's not respecting the gift of submission, or subs holding an "ideal" of a dom/me...and then refusing anyone who does not meet every nuance of their expectations.  Even on completely bdsm-unrelated subjects.  You'd think we'd know better.

You know you're depraved and a nerd when...

...you find yourself wishing for a BDSM expansion for Sims2.  :P

To all those sending me one-line messages asking how I'm doing, here's your response:

I'm fine.
When will guys learn that actions really do speak louder than words?
How can I find my happily ever after if I keep tripping over all the frogs?  *rolls eyes*  Thank Deity it's not dependant on finding a prince(ss).
If male dominants are doms, and female dominants are dommes, why aren't female subs called subbes?
Why do dom/mes get red and dark blue for their colors, but switches have to stay pink and light blue?  I demand different colors for switches!  At least let us pick...red (okay, and dark blue) for the more dominant-minded switches (such as moi) and pink (or light blue) for the more submissive switches.

Yes, we should all be allowed to pick our own colors.  If we have our own profile but are in a committed relationship, you can choose purple.  If you're just here to talk to friends...uh, I dunno, green?  The specific color isn't important (for that, I guess), but as long as CollarMe has started with using colors to designate classifications, why not enable it to its full potential?

Switches of the world (site) rise up and demand CHANGE!!!

*pant, pant*

*looks around*

Anybody?  :)
I feel that conversation is becoming more and more a lost art.  Conversation does not entail simply answering questions, but asking some of your own, providing subject matter for people to talk about.  One way conversations are very tiring, and I have no interest in trying to keep it up on my own.
Today I feel like I will just never be able to "play well with others."
Why oh why does "Female Switch" seem to mean "stupid submissive" to some guys???

The ONLY reason I'm not listed as Domme is because I want to sub SOMEtimes!
My family knows nothing about this side of me.  So, every so often, I will wonder, what do I not know about them?  Is it possible that we might run across each other here?

Imagine trying to talk about that at the family Christmas party!
Please do not attempt to chat with me on CollarMe; I will not respond.  A sincere and thoughtful message will get my attention much faster.  If you do contact me, let it be for a good reason; if you do not match what I am looking for, as stated in my profile, you will receive a rebuff.  I will be polite when politeness is extended, and not polite when it is deserved.
It's been so busy in the "Real World" lately.  I simply haven't had time to do much of what I would like to do.  So, apologies to all for not responding in a timely manner, but no promises for the future, as I do not see this busyness abating.
In other news, I've just watched (or rewatched, actually) The Story of O.  The film was very confusing, as it was filmed in French (I believe) and dubbed in English.  You always lose meaning that way.  (Don't believe me?  Watch Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon dubbed in English, then watch it with the English subtitles...lots of things get left out with the dubbing.)  Anyway, it seems the book it was adapted from was probably mostly an internal dialogue/silently explained type, so I'll be borrowing it from the library to read.  Hopefully it'll be more understandable.
I have been wondering lately...
How does a Dom retain control when he is receiving a blowjob?

I consider that moment to be one of true power for the female
(or whatever gender is giving it, hmm)
.  At that moment--those moments rather, since a well-done blowjob should last as long as possible--the male is helpless, writhing and begging (if done properly) and completely at the mercy of the woman.

If she stops, he is reduced to either stopping, or fininshing it himself.
If she completes, it is at her discretion.

So how is giving a blow job always a submissive act?
Note to all the submissive men: I am searching for a switching LTR--I am not looking to learn submission and then leave it behind for domming.

If you persist in persuing this under false pretenses you will only end up unhappy.
