About SolarAndViolet
Sarcastic and Sassy. That's who we are. We are a monogomous couple, so we're not looking for play-partners at this time. We are here to participate in the forums (sometimes),

Solar - The Sarcastic. Or at least
most of the time. I'm Chicago born and raised, with a love of the region as a whole. A gaming and IT geek when not talking about BDSM among friends, and all of the people I'm around are familiar with my interests across the board, whether or not they share them. Still, I can look like conservative corporate
America - just don't tell them about my ink and piercing, 'k?
I enjoy a wide variety of music.. from Albert Collins to 80's
one-hit-wonders to Metal. I'm developing into a fan of both movies and stage productions/cabaret. I even helped co-write a script.. you'll see more of that below.
Soccer is something I could play all day or watch all day, but I love swimming and biking as well. Living right on Chicago's Lakefront really helps me enjoy bikes paths and soccer fields, so that's a huge bonus for me.
A member of TNG Chicago, and a former leader of the group, I'm very
supportive of developing the local scene and making new
friends/acquaintances, as well as showing people little things I've
learned along the way, be it from others or from books/sites. Education is, I feel, one of the main ways we'll grow as a community and make sure people 'get it' - we're not all psycho (most of the time).
I'm by no means a Shibari expert, but I know my way around some rope (and had some excellent seminars/mentors). I'm quite fond of numerous ways to restrict movement or cause reactions, be it with impact or teasing caresses.
I've got my little pet, and I adore her. Friends are wonderful, so I hope to make more in and out of the city.
We've been out to GD and the LRA, and soon expect to be getting a membership at one of them. So come see us play, or ask for tips, or make new friends. Being a Dom doesn't mean I'm going to look down my nose at you.

(well one of the republics) and then New York/New Jersey, now moving to be with my dear Sir in Chicago. Soon! I love New York City and hope to return there, with Sir of course, but Chicago is nice too and I will enjoy my new life here.

I love movies and have a huge collection of DVDs (which is still
growing) - Being an aspiring film-maker and a screenwriter, it
comes with the territory. My graduating-thesis film
(semi-feature-lenghth) was
about BDSM... My story-idea, co-written with a great writer and mentor, Directed, Produced and co-edited. I always feel that with the
mis-representation that the lifestyle gets in the media nowadays, for
most part, we need more movies that show a positive light of the
lifestyle that we all know and love.
Museums, photo galleries, traveling.. (when I can) all are my likes...
among many others. I love 80s music but don't ask me to name the artists and/or songs... I'm horrible at that trivia.
