"A Man Honors his Mother by the Way he Honors & Respects Woman especially his Wife"
Someone very Near to me once told me that I had "mother issues" because of the quote above. I'm sure I do since my Mother did past away when I was a child. But the reference to Mother is not just the Woman who gave birth to You but to the Divine Mother, the Mother of all living, our MotherGod. In our patriarchial society we recognize the Fatherhood of God, whereas the feminine aspect of the Divine has been suppressed. Our first experience with God is when we first behold the face of our Mother. It is Her Wisdom that guides us in the early years & thru the rest of our lives. It is Her Love that nurtures, nourishes,and comforts our Soul. As we grow into adulthood, we may not need Her to physically take care of us, but we will always need Her Love. Once the Motherhood of God is recognized, the Divinity in all Women will also be revealed, then when we behold the Feminine Face of God in every Woman, and Woman will be restored in Her true status as a Goddess.
