I have had an interest in BDSM since my late teens. That was long long before the internet became available to all. Like many people my first experiences were tentative and clumsy with partners who were probably more "kinky" than lifestyle, but it certainly helped me to figure a few things out about myself.

Having felt that I was submissive I did find myself having something of a "crisis of faith" and closed myself off to submission for many years, choosing instead to explore my Dominance, whilst I enjoyed several relationships with subs they didn't fulfil me as much as I had hoped they would, something was always "missing", this was never any fault of theirs it was a yearning inside of me that I couldn't deny.

When I finally decided to stop fighting it and accept who and what I am many of those who knew me were stunned and thought I was nuts *laughs* all kinds of helpful suggestions were put forward including the ever so useful "why don't you switch?" The answer is simple because I am not a switch, I'm a submissive.

I discovered the internet about 7 years ago, when still a Domme, I came to the net having been involved in BDSM for well over a decade, I came with the arrogance that online wasn't real, that at best it was going to be a place for me to network for offline friendships and contacts. I soon learned the error of my ways *s*
