It's funny, I have found myself here for a couple of weeks now and am starting to get the dynamics of how the site works and the type of individuals who frequent this little haunt. It seems to be a friendly enough place where for the most part people seem genuine and sincere (at least the folks I have had the pleasure of conversing with) however one issue has become glaringly apparent; the complete lack of regard for the history and culture that *is* the foundation of our scene.
What do I mean by that? From perusing countless profiles on here one of the main points of contention that people seem to raise in their profiles is others messaging them with correspondence that is either blatantly rude and offensive, or at the very least, inappropriately up front and aggressive.
People, when someone on a site, or anywhere for that matter self identifies as a submissive or a slave, that should not come as an open invitation to say whatever happens to pop into your tiny little mind at the first glance of their photos. All submissives/slaves are not necessarily cock-hungry whores and vice versa (although many are, or end up trained to be). Much the same as not all Masochists are submissive nor are all submissives masochists. It is a BIG wide world of kink out there and no one can be expected to fit into your cookie cutter ideals, nor should they. Where the hell is the fun in that.
So Dom's (and I use the term loosely) let me pose you with this quesiton: When a submissive you have never met contacts you for the first time out of the blue, do you not expect a certain level of protocol and decorum in the introduction? I suspect you do correct? So with that being said, why is it apparent that so many "Doms" on here do not afford potential subjects the same level of decorum when approaching them for the first time?
As a "Dominant" myself, I look at it this way. If i am seeking someone to submit to me wholly and to follow my directions with the level of dedication I have come to expect from my subjects I want someone I respect and trust and whose respect and trust I have earned in return. You can have yourself a thousand slaves obeying your every whim, but unless there is mutual trust it is empty.
Just because you self identify as a "dom" and someone else self identifies as a "sub", that doesn't grant you the right to be a cunt. That is earned.
