It has come to my attention that CollarMe allows Google and other search engines to document and index our pictures. I ran a search on myself and My picture popped up, and a link to my collarme account showed up under my real name! Although I have never mentioned my real name on collarme. CollarMe gives non-users and in essence, Google-Bots and other spiders access to the profile pictures. And then google does picture matching and puts 1 & 1 together. This is a major privacy flaw in CollarMe and this is why I removed my picture from CollarMe, if you want to see how I look like, send me a message i will gladly send you one privately. I suggest everyone does the same. |
