As this name no longer really suits me, I've made a new profile and can be found under JustB.
Pain, suffering and i have an odd relationship...
I really need to create a new name. I made this one around 3-4 years ago, and I've come out of my shell quite a bit since then.
To put this out front, I am polyamourous. Currently I have a lovely primary partner whom I switch with, and I am also in service to a wonderful dom. Both of them encourage my seeking of play partners for various reasons.
I've been into bdsm for thirteen years. four of those years have been spent as a switch, and the other nine as a submissive.
I do switch with the right person, but I find that these are few and far between.
I'm looking for play partners who are into the heavier aspects of S&M. Floggers, canes, straps, and single tails are by far my favorites. In both the mental and physical aspects.
I don't really enjoy pain for pain's sake alone, but rather knowing that someone else is getting enjoyment and pleasure out of inflicting it. Hearing a happy sigh, or seeing wicked grin can make some of the most excruciating pain suddenly enjoyable.
I guess I'm kind of odd also in that I separate out sex from BDSM activities. To me they are both completely different chemistry. Could I be sexually attracted to someone I'm playing with, and can the two mix? Of course, and it's a beautiful thing when it happens. But it's not something that I need in a play partner.
That said, I am also looking for friends in the local scene. People to meet up with at happy hours, or hang out with at local events. I'm also always willing to share my knowledge, so if you have any questions, please feel free to send them along.

I was speaking with a Domme the other day and she had remarked that it was not often she has seen a submissive that enjoys cropping or caning. I've not had much exposure to the community at large, and I do not doubt her words, but is this the case? Is it a rarity to derive pleasure from such things?
