I've just recently discovered /admitted to myself that I'm a submissive. This is really new to me, and is the polar opposite of my everyday life. I've always been as leader professionally and socially. People come to me because they know I'll get things done. I'm strong. I'm independent. I provide a fabulous life for myself.
For a while I applied the same style to relationships. And it did not work. So I took some time to figure out why. I realized what I hated about past relationships was exactly what made me successfully in other aspects of my life. I hated being in charge. I hated making all the decisions, of taking care of a man who I felt should be capable of taking care of me. I hated that I didn't even trust past partners enough to suggest a power exchange.
I'm a lady by default. I like to cook and clean and entertain. I'm intelligent and well adjusted mentally. I don't have daddy issues. I'm looking for someone close to my age. And since I'm new to this, I'm looking for my teacher. |
