Woohooo!!!  The snow and ice all melted so I will be able to go to the horse shows this weekend!!!!  I'm doing a very happy dance right now.  Hope they are as wrong about the amount of snow on Tuesday night as they were about the amount of rain over the weekend.  Isn't it spring yet? There's just something about being out on a horse jumping over fences that renews my soul.  Guess it's close to flying, eh?

Pout....this is the last weekend for powwows for me.  Whatever shall I do without them for the whole winter season until March???  Laugh....get caught up on housework, beadwork and the bazillion other projects that I have put off all summer.  Where did the summer run off to??  So many plans for riding and showing and construction/destruction projects.  Grin....okay....so that list can just be used again next summer.

Okay, so it got warmer and started to melt only to cover it all back up with 7 inches of the white stuff again.  I am so anxious for it to be gone so I can get busy working my ponies again.  I've even started taking lessons at an indoor arena just so I can get some saddle time!!  Please hurry spring.  Laugh....of course the little bit of melting showed me that my Springer needs a shave as soon as it gets serious about being warmer.  I do believe he brought in half the melted dirt, mud and slime on his fluffy feet!!

Wow!!  Now is one of those times where I wonder why I have horses!!  Sub zero windchill is no fun at all.  I think having an indoor arena wouldn't be fun on a day like this.....unless it was a heated one!!  Laugh....hey....if I'm gonna dream, then I might as well dream big.  I'm watching Extreme Makeover and they're redoing a home and barn for a therapeutic riding school.  It stirs my heart's desire to see this.  I want to be able to do that for the challenged people....to share the joy and freedom that being on the back of a magnificent horse brings to all.  I love the saying that "something about the outside of a horse is good for the inside of a person".  Some day.....I am holding to this dream.....to be able to give to others.....to open doors.....to give more light of joy into their lives.....some day.......

Well, it's almost time for my journey to the mountains.  I am so looking forward to having peace and quiet with no cell phones, no family issues, no responsibility !!!!  Talk about a wonderful vacation.  Just wanted to let it be known that I'm not ignoring everyone.....just not back here until after Sept 16.  Hope y'all have a great holiday !!

The journey is continuing and in meeting people here I am learning more each day.  I have begun to learn about Daddy Doms and it fascinates me.  Do I want to do age play with diapers and such?  Nope, thanks to the patience of a very kind Daddy Dom who took the time to answer my questions and give me articles to read, I have discovered that I had a misconception of what it involves.  Laugh...and he peaked my interest greatly so I'm doing more reading and learning.  I love seeking knowledge and intelligent conversations.....so much more rewarding than "drop to your knees and serve me"!!!!  So if that's your intro line, don't waste your time or mine.  Giggle....and if ya think I won't be able to tell that you're holding that back while "attempting" to hold a conversation....well...... Life is good and even though it's raining, I feel the sun in my heart and am celebrating more lessons learned.

The healing continues and the lightheartedness is returning.  I thank each one who has sent messages of encouragement.  Perhaps HE really is out there and I will find that soulmate who can read me even better than I can read myself.  Laugh....hope he doesn't die of laughter from what he reads!!  I'm not a quitter so I know one day I will find that one who is my other half.  I will be patient this time and not be hurried along.  I have learned a lot over the years and am believe I am now ready to take the time to let things happen in the way they should instead of being so driven to find it NOW!!  See!!  I can learn patience....well.....kinda.....sometimes....sorta.
