When others look at this black raven they say it is such an ugly bird.
It's feathers are tattered and dull, It's eyes black and empty.
Only looking out for its next kill.
It's talons are sharp and long ,scaly and worn.
It's beak chipped and dull, stained of blood.
When I look at the same bird, I do not see this.
I see feathers dark and smooth with a glossy shine.
With eyes bold and full of knowledge
It's talons long and sharp but yet soft and gentle.
Its beak scared from battles of survival and stained with blood only because it has to feed.
I see beauty when it flies in the sky it is like a piece of black silk gliding in the air.
A warrior of many battles
I see beauty in this Black Raven
I see love. |
