It constantly amazes me. No matter how much you emphasize in a profile that prospective respondents should send a message that actually communicates information AND that one line messages will be ignored, guess what happens? Yup, you get one line messages with such poignant and revealing remarks such as "I want to be your slave" or "Please fuck me" or "Can I serve you?"
Now if someone has written a 5,000-word profile chock-a-block with all sorts of details about themselves and what they are looking for and what they offer and their experiences and feelings, they might get away with something like "Sir, please read my profile and if you are interested in me I would be pleased to answer any question". That is still one line but at least is backed up with substance.
Anyway, it is so infuriating to get a one-line message. And that infuriation always makes it so tempting to write back something about the respondent being a complete moron. But I have learned to master that instinctive response and now immediately hit the delete key to to remove temptation. |
