I've spent some time off and haven't yet given up on the lifestyle- mostly due to giving up on vanilla dating ages ago :) I'm not entirely sure what I'm looking for anymore. I am open to a wide variety of arrangements from a harshly used slave to something more romantic but for the time being I am only looking for people to get to know as friends.
I am eventually interested in a long-term relationship. Ideally something with a real connection with someone that I could love, but I'm also open to more casual D/s or master/slave. The thing is I don't want to be "On" all the time. I want "normal" time too.
Don't waste my time with any online only nonsense. As my profiles in the past have said, go play make-believe in Second Life and leave the big people alone.

I don't exactly recall how this started, but it ended as a rather detailed free-write about my personality and beliefs. I'm surprised it went so well. I will include a kink free-write next time.
I am old fashioned. I have my quirks. I am, at not even thirty, set in my ways and have been called at times a cantankerous old man lol. I am brutally honest and believe a man is only as good as his word; thus I will speak the truth even if painful. My humor is dry and I am sarcastic. I am a cynic "But you're too young to be a cynic" I was told once, to which I replied "you're never to young to become a cynic" I believe education without wisdom is not intelligence but foolishness and America's colleges are turning out educated fools by the thousands. Taking things at face value leaves you short changed. I love playing devil's advocate, especially against thoughts and ideals I agree with (the mind, like muscles, will atrophy if not exercised). Many cannot see the forest through the trees, I more often cannot see the trees through the forest. My pinkie fingers do not work properly which leads to excessive typo's on my part. I value music and literature far more than any art in a museum. I make no claims of sanity. I don't believe you need to be rich to be happy- I don't believe you need to be poor to be destitute. In all I reject the reality of society and substitute my own. I laugh at people who use silly little tests in profiles that are easily googled (such as a song lyric or movie line). I believe more than 67 percent of all statistics are made up on the spot and that this is a bad habit I need to break. I never say anything for certain unless it is so. If I'm willing to make a wager, you have already lost. I like to know a little bit about anything, and thus can spend hours using wikipedia's random article function. I believe actions speak and words wither in silence. I never buy the hype, and take it as a sign to lower your expectations (be they films or elected officials or anything between). I am growing my hair out to donate to children with cancer. I am beginning to tire of this free-write. I am introspective. I love analogies and use them often. I wear black purely because I like the way it looks, and find it humorous when people try to read beyond that. I feel listening is important, not so that you hear what others are saying, but to understand what they are thinking. I believe everyone has a freedom of will, but must face the consequences of their choices. I believe justice is greater and more paramount than law and that they too often disagree. I believe the foulest creation spawned by the minds of men is bureaucracy. I can't stand people who are unwilling to learn. I make my own path in life and reject those who demand others follow them. I feel too much time and energy is wasted on ego. Speaking of time, I am out of it.
Yet another update: I suppose it may help if I at least mention what I find desirable in my ideal slave/lover/friend/pet/partner (or any multiple combination of those). First though, a bit of explanation on my part. There are many diverse traits I find desirable although I've found over the years many are also contradictory. Years ago I learned a word that I found describes me quite well: 'Dichotomy', basically two seemingly contradictory traits existing together. In relationships (both vanilla and kink) it became the traits that attracted me to a woman that eventually lead to me losing interest with a happy medium never being reached. While I've considered multiple subs and poly, I have strong doubts about that. Now is this when I explain what I'm looking for in the perfect sub/partner/slave/yadda yadda yadda? No. Fact of the matter is, I have no idea. I once said I want a woman who is a mystery that when I stare into the abyss of her soul I see an ocean of untold expanse that if given a hundred lifetimes I could still not chart. At the same time I also want the woman who is the single drop of water in the palm of my hand.

So many people bitch about cut and paste messages or one line messages.? Well maybe people would put more time into sending messages if a response was given now and again.? Its frustrating taking time reading a profile and writing a message only to have them ignored time and time again.

I think I'll be taking a half step back from the the search for a lifestyle partner for awhile and concentrate more on just finding a mildly submissive partner.

If she's from Nigeria and says she's in the US, its spam.
If she's Indian and was in jail, its spam.
If she's a financial domme, she's a worthless cunt i.e. scam.
If she's got? a watermark on her pic she's at best a fake, at worst a fag pretending to be a woman. (yeah, flame me go ahead)
If she's deaf, its most likely spam.
If she asks for an e-mail address in your first messages, its spam.
If the profile says she's 5'6 and 47 (or use your own BS numbers, I've even seen a girl's profile claim 6'9" and 73 lbs) lbs, she's spam.
If she's "for sale" she's a scam.
If there's a porn site url its a scam.
If she says she's a woman but later admits he's a tranny he's miscategorized.
If she's "under consideration" after being a member for a few days she's a twit.
Please report these profiles.

I've noticed a trend among spammers in the past couple months: profiles with contact info in them, be it an e-mail address or a messenger handle.? Being that its completely free to contact people this is a great way to tell the spammers from the genuine profiles.?? Any profile I come across with contact info is imminently hidden.?
Granted there is also the possibility the person doesn't KNOW that this isn't a subscription site, but this also serves a purpose as it not only eliminates the fakes, but the flakes as well. :)

I take the time to write people. I don't use form letters and generally I write something somewhat long or detailed or at least GENUINE. I pride myself on knowing proper English, abhor using letters for words and treat everyone with respect.? Why is it so hard for people to send a simple reply that says "thanks but not interested?"? Especially from those who complain about all the things I make sure i DON'T do in my message.? The "thanks, but" isn't even necessary. . . .
Sorry for the rant, I have been in an increasingly sour mood this week. . .

I had this thought on a method of humiliation while considering traveling with a prospective slave, especially in regards to a hotel, but it could be used in any public place where communication with others is needed.
I would speak with her and command her via Bluetooth headset while she rents the room, shops orders food etc. so that her words and actions are not considered very "becoming of a lady" I'm sure your imagination will suffice without me needed to go into specifics hehe. . .

I met with a sub from collar me the other night and had a lot of fun.? It wasn't a date or a scene, but just a casual bit of both.? Nothing serious at all, but it was really nice to not have to be "Clark Kent" living in the vanilla world for the first time in too long.

The profile details a lot of the kinky side, but that is only part of my life.? A few bits of info about my vanilla life are needed it seems.? I enjoy reading and writing though I haven't done any work in so long I don't know if i can call myself that anymore.? I thoroughly enjoy poker.? Its something I excel at and could probably meek a living at it if i had the time for it.? This spring I plan on continuing my flight training.? I enjoy contracting and stone masonry, but its not something I want to do for my entire life.? Piloting would be an adventure a career and a dream.?? I also hope to travel someday, either on my own across the country (as a 'piker or in a small place) and throughout the world.? There is so much of the world I hope to see.??One of my favorite hobbies is canoeing.? I love being on the river, even though rocks can swim better than me.

I've been a tad more active here lately and just updated the profire.? I've talked with a few interesting people and made a new friend, but always hope to meet more.
As far as life goes, I've been in a bit of a rut, but things are looking better. I've recently made a few lifestyle changes regarding health and economics to which I'm fairly certain I'm sticking to this time.

I haven't been to active on here for some time. The message boards proved interesting for a while but soon went down hill with all the negativity and "you don't know jack" BS. I think people are the best judge of their own wants and desires and if someone thinks otherwise that someone should piss off. Don't tell me what I am and what I'm not. 1) you're not me and 2) get a life lol
I haven't had too much contact with people on here either, for the most part it seems a futile gesture as half the profiles I view have a journal entry "I'm getting xxx messages a day yadda yadda" and the few messages I've sent seemed to be lost in the deluge.
Not including the critique I recieved on my profile. That was somewhat humorous and somewhat helpful as a spelling error or two was pointed out. I'm sorry, but I'm not about to change my words that convey my personality, experiences and desires into something bland and colorless. I'm also not about to change my wants in a partner because of what one person says its unlikely. Meanwhile the criteria in question "bisexuality in a female partner" seems to me nearly as common as straight females. Also, as far as I'm concerned, the sexuality of a collared slave IS dictated by her owner, not the slave.? IF I want her to interact with another woman sexually, she gave me that right when she accepted my collar.
I do hope to update the profile though, there is always improvement to be made.
