Let's see, I moved to Portland kind of recently, and I still feel like I'm settling in. It's been a great change for me, and I've gotten to come out much more as a trans person, going by the name Anita, but I'm still trying to figure out where my gender identity falls. Mostly, I present as a vaguely androgynous guy, and I go out as a girl on some weekends when I'm not too busy with school. I'm really interested in bdsm and eager to try new things because I'm fairly inexperienced. Anyway, I joined here to see if there are feminine people (women or trans) who want to get to know me and go out sometime. Hope you're out there!

Things I'm into: Books about anything, chasing down primary sources, reading the news movies and art and languages from other places, music that's different, innovative poetry, critical theory.
Update 6/7/2012: Started HRT (!!!) and I'm feeling really great about the way things are going. Can't wait to see all the changes happen to my body.
Update 5/10/2012: I've started counseling with a gender therapist; and I've started to work on my feminine voice. I'm just waiting to put together the money to get laser hair removal on my face. Goods things are happening - I'm thinking transitioning is the right choice for me, but the timing is very difficult since I'm in school.
