Where are the really smart ones? Dominance and submission form such a powerful bond between a couple, and this bond begins in the mind. D/s is a powerful paradox. The partners are equal in one sense and yet adopt very structured roles in another. Does this make sense? I have been exploring D/s online and in real life for several years but remain very selective with whom I will want to share it. A relationship based on power exchange involves much that is erotic, of course, but also draws two people close together in other parts of their lives. I seek a woman who can be my friend first. We can talk about the slavery later.... (winks) I live a pretty vanilla life on the outside, with a professional career and vanilla friends. I read and listen to jazz and work out regularly. I have traveled to Mexico many times, Australia once but have yet to make it to South Africa. I recently got back into rock climbing (after a many-year hiatus) and have been trying to learn wind surfing (damned hard!). I am a very curious person, wondering about all manner of things. Fortunately, New York sates the curious! I love the museums and culture found here, as well as the people in them. I love to find out what people are thinking. I love the fact that you can find really obscure movies on Wednesday nights. I seek a woman who can share all of these things but who also craves to give up control (erotic and otherwise). To me, the transformation from public to private persona is the key to the D/s dynamic. How far can it go? I have no idea yet. Let's find out!
