Life’s an art…

Life’s too short to live a sterile mechanical, existence. Each day must be a new composition. I paint outside the lines, between the lines, over the lines, whatever. Someone with an important sounding name once said… Hell, who cares what anyone else ever said. Even living according to dead poets and philosophers is an abandonment of ones own character. It’s time for me to answer to the inner voice I’ve shushed for too long. I’m on a voyage I call: THE REST OF MY LIFE.

Getting to know yourself is like making a new friend and trying to learn all you can about that person. I’ve finally begun to learn who I am. I expect that to be an ongoing process until my last breath but I’ve made significant progress. We are all a chorus of personalities that must be directed by a central conductor. At different times, various of these personalities want to take the front. Allowing them to do so is the key to freedom rather than self-oppression.

But enough pontification and onto the point. I am a straight dominant male, 41 yo, 5'10'', 185#, with an average build, brn hair (receding), a short cropped beard, and hzl eyes. I am an intelligent, educated, professional, soon-to-be-divorced, father of 4 (d11,s8,s8,d3).

In the vanilla world, I enjoy music (classical to hard rock), films (drama, suspense, action, and some comedy), art museums, eating out, wine, beer. I have a witty, some might say dry, sense of humor, but a sense of humor nonetheless.
