The pandemic has offered up an unique time for introspection, and in the midst of these social doldrums, in which the frenzied winds of communal activities have died down to next to nothing, I have found myself inhabiting a deep, centered space. Like everyone else, I continue to be busy through the virtual sphere, but when the screen is darkened I am thoroughly enjoying time with myself.
I have become particularly aware of the various hormonal dumps brought about by my states of mind and physical activities. Although very much a lay-person in my knowledge of human biology, the distinctions I perceive between a surge in the secretion of serotonin and dopamine (happiness, reward attraction hormones), or endorphins and testosterone (pain, pleasure and lusting hormones), or cortisol and adrenaline (stressing, fight-or-flight hormones) has become quite stark. The brilliant thing in all this is that I am now even more acutely aware of the activities and dynamics that produce these rushes. Running up trails on the side of a hill, and swimming in the icy waters of the lake and sound give me one high...meditating and deep conversation another...and...
Well, this is where this profile comes in...I have come to realize that the peak experience provided by oxytocin (the empathy and bonding hormone) from making the sensual, tactile connection with an other is a baseline for me. Upon reflection, I realize it has been upon this foundation (which is where my tantric practices come in -- see below) that I have most thoroughly enjoyed layering up kinky play. Ahhhh, and the myriad directions in which it is able to ecstatically soar from there...

I am very focused on the mutual fulfillment of desires -- I seek to explore the deep-seated, primal impulses and cravings, which are reached through personal edge play (a scene that is personally dramatic both mentally and physically).
