I am a sub located in the East Bay. I have had some experience with dominants and a lot of experience looking for dominants.
Even with some very nice dominants in the area, it is very difficult to find someone to give to who gets me and wants me. I think many people here feel this in some way.
I am seeking a relationship with a dominant - as my interest lies in familiarity, training and so on. I'm not a wanker and I try to be very good when subbing. However, it is important to mention that my motivations are in one part to be close to someone who I get along with, and sexually I can submit to. This is difficult to articulate correctly, because I'm not looking just to play.
Essentially, I see subbing as this expansive play time. A play time that may involve domestic service or other things of that nature, but it is a special time with dominant and sub. A play time that could be activated or extended at different periods of time. Perhaps it would be better to call it a "funfungivingbeingtoldwhattodo" time.
A big hurdle I have noticed in talking to some local dominants is how to balance their interests in service with how it intersects with the sub. I'd like to have alot of fun with a dominant and inspire and excite, and be inspired and excited. Sometimes doing quotidien is fun, but only doing quotidien things because it makes a dominant happy is only nice on occasion. I long for saucy, inventive, personalized play that uses my individual self and the dominant's individuality to a great extent. That partner's individuality is what I ache to please, to be trained for, and so on. Chores can be sexy, and I am very open to different people's takes on what can be fun, but if the things you want to do with a sub frequently resembles visiting doctor's office waiting room after doctor's office waiting room, then going to several CVS looking for a particular glue for a project you're doing next week that doesn't involve me at all when we're spending quality time together, please perhaps consider whether this is why most of us get into subbing, because it's not. It's not about wanking and cunnilingus either, but it is about special times with a woman that embodies eroticism and dictates pleasure in her own fashion. I suppose in the end, even those doctor's office waiting room visits can be sexy and fun if there's a good rapport between people. |
